The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11am until 3pm for a special holiday prix-fixe meal prepared by Chef Steve Painter. Guests may choose a soup or salad, followed by a traditional turkey main course or a vegetarian option of honey roasted acorn squash. The full menu will be posted on our website under the 'Events' tab. Seating for Thanksgiving is limited and must be booked by phone or OpenTable as early as possible. If anyone in your party is unable to climb stairs, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you!
Murder Mystery at The Log Cabin

Venture 100 years into the past at The Log Cabin as we throw a theatrical banquet set in 1924. During the week of Halloween, our talented group of actors will immerse you in a mystery spurred on by Prohibition paranoia. Guests are encouraged to participate in the event by dining in character and helping our detective solve the who-dun-it. Each guest will be served a 3-course meal, including a Soup or Salad, Main Entree and Dessert. Ticketed guests will be sent a menu from which they may pre-order their meal. (Gluten Free and Vegetarian options are available) Please direct all questions to events@logcabin1933.com

Join us in the Piano Lounge 6:00pm to 9:30pm every Friday & Saturday night for live music from some of Lancaster County’s best musicians! Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Everything about our dinner was excellent. The food was perfectly prepared, server (Lauren) was professional, and the atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation over dinner.

Wonderful calm restaurant that was quiet and a great place for romantic dinner. Staff was responsive and menu diverse. A hidden gem.

Our server MJ made our experience at The Log Cabin one we will remember for years to come. The salad was crisp and fresh and the bread to die for. The herb roasted chicken and the blueberry cobbler were amazing. Thank you to MJ for your great service and making this an evening we won’t soon forget.

We loved our anniversary celebration at The Log Cabin Restaurant! We dined on what was the porch at one time. We could still see the original logs of the exterior walls. Our server, Christine, was excellent. She answered any questions we had regarding this historic building. Our meal was quite memorable with every aspect a perfect balance of beauty and taste. I highly recommend The Log Cabin Restaurant as the perfect dining experience.

What a neat place with a neat history. Even driving there was neat with a drive thru a covered bridge. Food and Service was good.

Everything about this dining experience was perfect - from the greeting at the door, to the kind wishes as we left! Our server, Christine, was professional and attentive. Our water was never empty, and every need was anticipated. Each dish was better than the last, and we all left wishing we had room for even more. We can't wait until we get a chance to come back to visit again.
