The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11am until 3pm for a special holiday prix-fixe meal prepared by Chef Steve Painter. Guests may choose a soup or salad, followed by a traditional turkey main course or a vegetarian option of honey roasted acorn squash. The full menu will be posted on our website under the 'Events' tab. Seating for Thanksgiving is limited and must be booked by phone or OpenTable as early as possible. If anyone in your party is unable to climb stairs, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you!

Join us in the Piano Lounge 6:00pm to 9:30pm every Friday & Saturday night for live music from some of Lancaster County’s best musicians! Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We celebrated our anniversary. It was the perfect atmosphere. Our waiter was very thoughtful and attentive. He did have several tables to manage but we didn’t mind not being rushed. His recommendations on the menu were spot on and loved everything. We highly recommend the pretzels, wedge salad, Osso Bucco, and sticky toffee pudding. We even received an anniversary gift. Wonderful evening. It will be our go to place.

Laura was our server and was very personable! She even took our picture for our anniversary. Food was presented beautifully. Steak cooked exactly as ordered. Fresh bread was amazing. Crème brûlée was delicious. Lovely evening to celebrate.

We celebrated our 11th anniversary, and the experience was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoy our experience at the Log Cabin.

This is a good 10-year anniversary spot, and we found ourselves in what to be the anniversary corner tonight, there were 10 year ours was 11 year a 14 year a 29 year and a 30 odd year happening this fine September 28th, 2024. Food was good, place had good ambiance, and music was good. 9.75 cuz nobody's perfect serving 100 plus guests

This restaurant is a "main stay" in fine dining in Lancaster County, which in the past, we have visited frequently. This time, we were planning on grabbing a drink at the bar, and sitting in the central lounge area to enjoy perhaps a jazz trio or relaxing jazz pianist. Instead, they had a folk singer! Nice voice, but not conducive to a fine dining atmosphere. However, our bar mixologist made super cocktails! The restaurant accommodated my request for one of their intimate dining rooms, and our server was very attentive. However, my lamb chops were tough and my friend's steak was as well. The wine selection was excellent. For a fine dining restaurant, they truly need to pay attention to atmosphere in the lounge area. You need to create a fine dining ambiance and experience, not one of a brewery.

The Wait Staff was outstanding. The owner since 2010 greeted us at our table and shared some history from this storied speak easy. Thanks for a memorable experience.
