The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

This interactive tasting will enhance your understanding of the wine making process and help you become a more informed consumer of varying styles of earth healthy wines. Tastings may be booked at 5pm or 7pm and will be located in the downstairs Speakeasy. In addition to a complementary bread basket, guests are welcome to order food pairings from our Small Plates menu. Join us in the Piano Lounge 6:00pm to 9:30pm every Friday & Saturday night for live music from some of Lancaster County’s best musicians! Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We loved our meal. The wait staff was incredible. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and they made sure to make it a special night.

Our original reservation was for outdoor seating, but because of the threat of storms, we were moved indoors.

Unfortunately we waited over an hour and half for our entree, but we had to leave before our food was served. They brought it out as soon as we told our waiter we needed to leave for the theater and wanted our bill. During that time we received our water and drinks and six oysters with only one sauce and lemon. Due to the extensive heat wave we were unable to box the meal. Bottom line for those that have never eaten at this place plan to spend a minimum of 2 hours. We were told it takes over an hour and half to plate the meals. But we only had one appetizer!

Since every dish at the Log Cabin is prepared individually, the process does take longer than in most other restaurants. Of course, that fits with the Log Cabin's whole purpose which is to provide our customers with the very finest food selections in an upscale atmosphere where they can enjoy a relaxed evening of good conversation, great service, beautiful surroundings, music, art, and savory food all together. Of course, wait times will also vary depending on a number of factors, including the time elapsed before ordering, the complexity of the dishes ordered, and the number of courses ordered. That said, if you do have a deadline that you are working with, please tell your server at the outset so he or she can help you make choices that will speed up the process.

Shame on us for only dining here for the first time in the many years we've lived in LancCo. The staff, food, drinks, and ambiance were all fantastic. It was nice that different management walked around greeting the restaurant guests, making everyone feel welcomed. There was also always a server or room staff ensuring we had everything we needed, and that our food and drinks were okay. We liked the special extras that were at our reserved table, making our special occasion that much nicer! The online option to reserve a time/table was also very easy. And, the air conditioning was working just fine for our awful heatwave! (Thank you)! We will return!

The beet salad and osso bucca were delicious. The wedge salad looked rather deconstructed, but my companion said the blue cheese was some of the best he’s ever had. His steak was also very good. Our only complaint was we had looked at the menu online before we left and it showed two burger options- one burger- or two sliders. We chose based on that as we had our older teenage son with us. When we got there there were no burger options and the jerk chicken wasn’t available either. The service was fantastic.

Julie -- Glad you had such a wonderful evening. As for the burger options, we update and change our menu at least seasonally to take advantage of the fresh ingredients that are only available certain times of the year and to provide our customers with some new and different selections to choose from. Our website menu is adjusted accordingly. But we have no control over Google and other web sites that sometimes get copies of old menus and fail to keep them updated. If it is critical to have a particular dish on the menu before you come, it is always a good idea to call us in advance to confirm that it will be available then.

Wow! First time here and definitely not our last! My partner and I loved this place, from our awesome waiter MJ to our desert, it was FANTASTIC! If things go as planned, I may even hold our wedding reception here😊 Thank you "Log Cabin" for a Great Experience!
