The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11am until 3pm for a special holiday prix-fixe meal prepared by Chef Steve Painter. Guests may choose a soup or salad, followed by a traditional turkey main course or a vegetarian option of honey roasted acorn squash. The full menu will be posted on our website under the 'Events' tab. Seating for Thanksgiving is limited and must be booked by phone or OpenTable as early as possible. If anyone in your party is unable to climb stairs, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you!

For the holiday season, we are hosting a Premium Wine Tasting at 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday 12/4. Each 2-hour tasting features a careful selection of 5 Champagne & Sparkling Wines. Guests will have the opportunity to taste all 5 wines and buy bottles at a discounted rate. The restaurant remains open for regular dinner service! Please select a time other than 5pm or 7pm if you are not interested in attending the Wine Tasting this month.

Join us in the Piano Lounge 6:00pm to 9:30pm every Friday & Saturday night for live music from some of Lancaster County’s best musicians! Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Excellent food and ambience for our wedding anniversary. Two steaks, roasted potatoes, truffle fries, veggies were perfection. Three drinks plus one dessert all for $200. We loved the real fire in the main dining room of this former 1920s speakeasy. Road is well marked but use GPS as it’s in a remote-feeling location. This will now be our go to special occasion place!

We loved the food. It was great. Enjoyed all the small plates. My cocktail was outstanding and the dessert was yummy.

Overall we had another enjoyable evening at the Log Cabin. I had the Blackened Salmon Oscar which was outstanding. For my taste the pairing was perfect. My wife had the Pork Osso Bucco which was very good. Christian our waiter was attentive but not hovering which we appreciate. The only slight negative was where we were seated. There where several tables for two open that would have been in a quieter spot but we were seated next to a table that was not loud per say, but one of the gentleman had a louder voice and did most of the talking which made it a little hard for us to hear our conversation at times.

The food and drinks were amazing! The little extra touches they did to help us celebrate our anniversary was extremely sweet. Our server was extremely nice and very knowledgeable of the offerings at the restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant for a romantic dinner. Always have a reservation for this restaurant otherwise, you probably won't get a seat. I only gave a 4 because our waitress wasn't very attentive, gave the wrong specials and gave no details on the specials. I brought up that what she said the special was, wasn't on the menu and she corrected herself saying it was yesterdays. The table waitress next to us went into deep details on the specials along with making some recommendations. We got none of that! We were there almost 1 1/2 hours, and our waitress came by 3 times to check on us. The food was absolutely phenomenal! I would absolutely come back for dinner again with the hopes we receive a better server. We also ordered the Salt and Vinger chips with fresh pretzels (Fabulous) and didn't finish it so they boxed it up but didn't put the dipping sauce in the container. I was so looking forward to it later that night but was totally surprised it wasn't in the container. The young lady playing the piano and singing was also awesome. We thought about staying after dinner to listen to her, but the lounge was full so decided to head out.

Unique dishes of many varieties. Tasty, Never have had a bad meal in 16 years of frequenting. A bit pricey for the casual diner.

From our cocktails in the bar to our dinner with MJ as our server.. we could not have asked for a more enjoyable evening. Food was superior!
