2 things: 1) every dish of our food was WAY over salted, to the point of being inedible. The calimari appetizer was like a salt lick, and the fries with dinner and my Greek salad were TOTALLY over salted. 2) the drink service was comically bad. I ordered a martini, waitress asked if i wanted it on rocks or straight up. I said straight up. It came on the rocks. She said she’d fix it. My martini glass was maybe 1/2 full. My son ordered a regular Coke. She brought a ginger ale. He asked for a coke, again. She brought a Diet Coke. He didn’t bother. I ordered wine to have with my dinner. The wine came after i finished what I cold of my over salted salad. Total fail.

This was an absolutely stellar experience. Attention was paid to every detail. The food was perfect, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have never seen such a beautiful dessert display!

This was our first time eating at The Lodge and we were very happy with our experience. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. It was a nice birthday meal for my hubby.

We have been to this restaurant several times for dinner and happy hour and loved it. The brunch is nice but very expensive even for two people not drinking mimosas. The brunch cost is $48 per person without mimosas or champagne and we were surprised with the 18 percent service charge and 20 percent tip automatically both added to our bill. That’s 38 percent with no option to modify it on the check. Total cost for two adults with no alcoholic drinks was $156 which is rather expensive for Pasadena. I’d like to determine how much tip I leave for a party of only two adults dining. We like this restaurant but it seems excessive to automatically add 38 percent in service and gratuities for a couple dining. We will probably just come here for regular meals or happy hour unless we want to spend as much as this brunch did.

5 pm reservations, seated promptly. Beautiful restaurant and great food. Our server started well - provided info about the restaurant and made recommendations. Got our drinks and had apps; after placing our dinner order she never visited our table until we had to call her over to get the check. She was clearly overwhelmed while it got busy. Two managers were there observing all the staff yet not one was assisting with refills, orders, etc.

It was my first time dining at The Lodge in this location. I think that the hosts/hostesses and servers could use a bit more training. The service was a little tough around the edges. It’s a beautiful restaurant, but it was a little loud for conversation. The food was good. I had the salmon kale salad; it was a little too salty. I’m giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt and will try it again. It just opened so maybe they are just experiencing some growing pains.

The best shrimp and scallop risotto I’ve ever had. Biscuits were fantastic. The fries were delicious. The red brick chicken was juicy, flavorful and the potatoes and gravy were amazing. Jose was a fantastic server. Thank you for a great evening!

Great Sunday brunch. It was my husbands birthday and everyone was so attentive. The variety of food was great. The service was awesome. The only thing I would change and it is minor, is that when dining at a nice restaurant I would rather not have my butter in plastic to go containers. Everything else was in pretty bowls and set out with spoons or tongs. We will definitely be back.

Hi, I believe you should make it more clear that the vegan menu isn’t available during your Sunday brunch. Or if you could give substantial vegan options in the brunch menu. I know you all are still figuring things out, and I’d really appreciate if you considered my request. Thank you.
