The Loch & the Tyne is all about sustainable British luxury. The perfect countryside location for exclusive weddings, private events and country getaways.

A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.
We are dog and children friendly pub. Our cosy lounge area is dedicated for the guests with the dogs and little ones - please let us know prior your booking so we can accomodate you accordingly.

    This was our 1st visit here for a special occasion (10th Anniversary). The team made us feel very special. The interior is nice & elegant. Our hostess Elena was very good, nothing was too much trouble. Our two children enjoyed their meals which is a big plus for us. Hubby had the Beef wellington & he throughly enjoyed it. The portion size was decent, the only niggle would be the Yorkshire pudding was small & crispy. My chicken & mushroom pie pastry was overcooked but overall we did enjoy the meal & would recommend for special occasions. Thank you team.

    Went here for a Birthday treat, cocktails excellent to kick off, followed by beef tatarre followed by venison and finished off with blackberry pavlova, all excellent. Staff are jolly and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and has a nice buzz. Overall can’t think of anything negative. It’s not cheap but you get something special - well that was our experience anyway.

    Always a wonderful experience visiting Lock and Tyne. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is impeccable. The tasting menu is bursting with flavours, colours and yumminess. Totally recommend this restaurant, makes any occasion a special occasion.
