The Loch & the Tyne is all about sustainable British luxury. The perfect countryside location for exclusive weddings, private events and country getaways.

A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.
We are dog and children friendly pub. Our cosy lounge area is dedicated for the guests with the dogs and little ones - please let us know prior your booking so we can accomodate you accordingly.

    We came for Sunday dinner, it was extremely hot so they kindly let us sit outside and enjoy some nibbles and drinks. The bread with chicken butter was exceptional. The service throughout was fantastic. The food was served quickly and was delicious. Would recommend.

    Great food, the hue served with the pie was very salty…. Everything else was expertly cooked & presented. service was impeccable. You will not be disappointed but be prepared to pay 😁👍🏻

    Tremendous meal, Food was seriously top tier, service was attentive but comfortable, drinks were on another level. Couldn’t recommend more, will certainly be returning!

    Very good fine dining experience overall. Atmosphere and music are good. Staff attentive and very friendly. Food was very good, especially the starters. Main course (beef wellington and chicken roast) we had were decent, but felt less in taste and quality compared to the exquisite starters. A bit more pricey than what I expected overall. The major downside we experienced was the metal chairs we sat on: Very uncomfortable. Most of the other tables had more comfy chairs, but ours were disappointing. Avoid these chairs when you go.
