    Overall, I gave 4 1/2 stars for this restaurant. The location is great. The service was good as well as the food! Everything was cooked perfectly and honestly if I had more money, I would’ve ordered seconds lol the only thing I didn’t really drink because despite it being a coconut marg, it was very sour and I had to get the taste adjusted personally I should’ve probably asked for another drink because it wasn’t that great. Nevertheless, if I’m in Belleville again with my significant other, I want to visit again!

    Everything was great - lovely and attentive server. The only exception was cold coffee. The server immediately rectified and apologized but the quality of the coffee did not match that of everything else.

    We had a great dinner on the patio! We went as a family and they were great with our kids. The food was great! I highly recommend The Local Social!

    Small but varied menu. Excellent and friendly server. Prefer the patio but ate indoors due to weather. Despite it being a full house, service was good and noise level was tolerable. Our server was very efficient and fun.

    Great views of the river from the patio. Tables spaced far enough apart so as not to be annoyed by other diners. Music was loud inside, but reasonable on the patio. Food was so fabulous that I am still thinking about it and will go back. Service from every single person we encountered was excellent.

    The food was good. However, the menu was very limited, not much choices. We had an unexperienced server: forgot to provide milk with coffee, and asked me to pay the bill before serving me the coffee that I asked for.

    Our server Brett made the experience extra enjoyable. He was friendly and attentive. We had a glass of the Earthworks Shiraz and thoroughly enjoyed it. The oysters were very fresh and tasty. It was a little too cool to sit outside, however, they have a lovely patio overlooking the Moira River. We would definitely go back.

    It was our first time at The Local and when I booked the reservation in the morning I hoped we could get a patio table however it was pouring down rain when we got there. It was still lovely inside and our server Abby was very sweet and attentive. I can’t wait to go back on a Friday night for live music on the patio!
