    Our server Brett made the experience extra enjoyable. He was friendly and attentive. We had a glass of the Earthworks Shiraz and thoroughly enjoyed it. The oysters were very fresh and tasty. It was a little too cool to sit outside, however, they have a lovely patio overlooking the Moira River. We would definitely go back.

    It was our first time at The Local and when I booked the reservation in the morning I hoped we could get a patio table however it was pouring down rain when we got there. It was still lovely inside and our server Abby was very sweet and attentive. I can’t wait to go back on a Friday night for live music on the patio!

    Menu was pretentious, food was plated like a high end restaurant, however taste and quality failed to deliver. Fish is heavily overcooked, and the food in general was extremely over salted to compensate for poor technique. Fries were soggy and extremely over salted. Burgers were average at best considering all the other choices in the area for a better price. Price was unfair towards paying customers, as the quality did not reflect what would be expected at the price range. Passible food there would be appetizers. Even those were not done well for their price points. Overall it seems like this restaurant has an identity crisis, but has the benefit of a good location to draw in unsuspecting or unknowing diners.

    Our party of 9 had an absolutely fabulous meal on June 14th, and the service was outstanding. (Michael was our main server). Thanks so much. We will be back!

    It was a pleasure going back to The Local. It was for my son’s graduation. Our server, Abby was amazing! No rush to leave our table like in some other restaurants. Love the ambiance and the food was very good. We will definitely go back! Hopefully to enjoy the beautiful patio❤️

    Brought my wife and Mom for an early Mother’s Day dinner. Great service and amazing food. The wait staff were incredibly attentive. Would definitely go again!
