Our locally sourced food, innovative seasonal menus and friendly and attentive service have earned us our reputation as one of the best independent pubs in Staffordshire.
We are renowned for our selection of contemporary and traditional ales and craft beers, our hand-picked wines, and extensive selection of gin and cocktails.
If that seems too much to get through in a day then we recommend booking one of our cosy hotel rooms, which have been sympathetically refurbished to evoke the original Georgian coaching inn while providing all the comforts of a modern hotel.

Lovely restaurant, the Sunday roast was amazing. Service was really poor. Walked in and ignored by 5 members of staff ) all teenagers). Then waited for the bill to be brought over and waited 10 minutes for that, while the staff were talking about tiktok and social media. Would definitely return and eat there again, but will be prepared that service may not be brilliant

I stopped going to the Little Arms because the menu was not very appealing. Currently, it's very much like you would get in many other similar establishments, so a little uninspired but good food no the less

Lovely decor and ambience. Food beautifully presented but the taste wasn't there, specially for the price of the meals and for the small amount you get. Although the fish and chips looked like a fantastic portion on the table next to us. On a table of 4 of 4 didferebt jeals and 4 sides, allnof us were disappointed with lack of flavour. But that's not to say others would not have enjoyed it. However like I say presentation was beautiful. Service wasn't great, we waited a good while with empty glasses and couldn't get the attention of a server but didn't go up the bar as didn't want my food to go cold. Was for a birthday celebration but I think they enjoyed the look if the place. They have what looks to be home made pastries at the bar which look delicious and after a few drinks I am sure would go down well.

Quiet for a Tues night. 4 tables dining. Took over 40 mins for food to arrive and when it did it was just warm! All three meals. Spoke to the young member of staff who apologised. We did receive a complimentary drink. Shame as the food was tasty. Only two staff working covering the restaurant and bar.

There were a lot of items not available on the menu but the things we had were nice. We were asked if we wanted any sauces. We started main meals and 10 minutes later the sauces still hadn't arrived so the fish and chips were very dry without the tartar sauce. My partner eventually went to see where they were and found the waiting staff just chatting and laughing at the bar. We did get the sauces but we were halfway through our meals. My sister had asked for vinegar and that came when she had one chip left. This is not a cheap place so expected better service. The desserts were nice but the pudding rice was hard and the rhubarb could have done with either a knife, or being cut into squares as it wasn't edible with a spoon it was so hard. The positive is that the meals we had were very large and substantial.

We have eaten here several times before . The food was great . The service started out well but sadly declined after our mains had been cleared . We had to seek out the dessert menu , then find someone to take the order . No cutlery accompanied the dessert so had to go and find someone to ask. But disappointing overall .

Not our first time here and we love it Staff are always polite and live music was lovely. Food is beautiful Thank you and see you again soon

Went for lunch Saturday 5th. Not many in. Asked if wanted drink - fine and came quickly. Asked if any specials on told only did on evening. Ordered food, not too long a wait and was fine. Waited a while and had to ask for desert menu, desert once again fine. Couple on next table asked if they had to go bar to order food as had been waiting a while and it wasn’t busy. Not asked if meal was ok or if needed another drink. I do feel that staff aren’t trained properly. They are all really nice but lacking skills required. Probably most are Saturday jobs. Everyone has to learn. This is a “nice” venue. Quite a few sitting outside, maybe they were getting better attention. Had to go up to bar to ask for bill and pay so don’t really get chance to peruse bill. Just attention to detail on a few things would make a lot of difference
