Serving delicious World Tapas for lunch and dinner, but also Bistro classics at dinner time. Extensive well priced wine selection, organic, without added sulphites, quirky wines but not only.
In the summer, probably one the best, if not the best restaurant terrace to sit on in Taunton.
Dogs are welcome.

Staff were super helpful & very friendly- great food- didn’t mind moving us when the table next to us was rather noisy - would definitely recommend this restaurant

We ordered the Fish Tapas Sharing platter. When the manager served us we pointed out that he had brought us the meat one. We explained that I was vegetarian. He suggested that my wife, who isn't, eats the meat and I avoid certain bits. We ordered the Fish because we both love fish. He offered us some other things from the menu. He was clearly not keen on taking it back and giving us what we ordered. He blamed his staff for the mix up. Eventually, we ordered the two fish dishes he recommended. We only saw one of them and this was over cooked and dry. When we received the bill he had charged us for the two extra dishes, of which one we didn't even get. When we pointed out the missing food and the cost on the bill, which he said he would cover, again he blamed his staff. He went to sort it out, only for it to be wrong again. Eventually, we had a bill that was reduced, but this was seriously poor customer service. I'm shocked that he kept blaming his colleagues, which he did at other tables as well. It is a shame, because we had previously enjoyed a meal there, but I'm in no rush to go back. Additionally, I think it is fair to point out that the customer service we received from Julia and her other colleagues was good. They were attentive, professional and polite. It seemed that there were issues in the kitchen (an overheard conversation upon leaving). My issue was mostly how the manager was keen to blame other people instead of being a leader and role model.

I am really sorry that you had a bad meal with us. I totally understand where you come from as like yours, my wife is vegetarian therefore I can relate totally. The matter has been raised internally and we will learn from it. This is not the way we work, treat our guests and our team, and certainly not the way that my manager works normally. Very good meal from the Summer Dining menu for five of us. We sat outside, had pretty good service, and the noise levels were only difficult when some kids on Stand Up Paddleboards were passing by on the river (only about 5yds away). Good wines and ciders, and 4 out of 5 of us thought the food was excellent (there's always one...)

We had an absolutely fantastic evening. we ate at 18:00 on a Friday and it was nice and quite. (Just what w we’re looking for) the staff were very helpful as we were unsure of the food on the menu because it was quite new to us, it was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to return. Thank you so much all credit team at the little wine shop 👍👍😘

Absolutely fabulous . Great wine , fantastic food in an extremely friendly environment . Perfect little spot by the river . Thoroughly recommend if you haven’t tried it already .
