There is nothing complicated about food, and nobody understood this better than the Italians. We had excellent food and service but it was very cold in the restaurant. It’s ridiculous that you can’t sit down and enjoy a meal without wearing a jacket. You got to something about this.

Appetizer was ok (Caprese Burrata) I had the Paparadelle Carbonara, my spouse had the Bolognese. Mains were fairly decent Dessert was sub par, and delivered late. Tiramisu was something else, and was essentially cream and crushed Oreos with a lady finger? Strawberry Shortcake was interesting, but moist. Spanish coffee was delicious however arrived late, and the whipped cream had dissolved by the time it had arrived, it seemed like it had been sitting for a while.

The waiter who seated us was rude and sloppy. Room temp tap water disguised in bottles. Appetizers, no flavour, bread not just lightly burnt for flavour but so burnt it was inedible. Very disappointing, won’t go back, ever or recommend to anyone, ever. It was my boyfriend’s birthday supper too. Unfortunate. Our server was very nice and she did a good job.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything from our cocktails to our sourdough and pasta dishes! Would have loved to try the Tiramisu but just had no room left! Next time :)

Fabulous evening at Little Sparrow! Food, drinks, service and ambiance were awesome. Loved the salmon special…..with scallops and risotto….so flavourful! Scallop appetizer was also delicious! The view is always amazing!

We enjoyed our meals. The meatballs were fantastic! The pasta dishes were lovely but I wouldn’t order the chicken cacciatore again. It wasn’t as flavourful as I had hoped. Service was excellent and we had a nice time.

I don’t give many five star reviews for everything, but the Little Sparo was superb! Ambience, decoration, view of the harbour, and the food and service were stellar!! I will be back, and highly recommend for authentic Italian pasta and antipasta. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet evening, a business meal, or any other important evening. As a side note, we were 35 minutes late for our reservation, and they didn’t even mention it - we called in advance and they said no issues. 100 per cent recommend this restaurant!!

The description of the food was not at all what we received. Portions are small and overpriced. Sauce was bland and needed salt. Our waiter was very nice and efficient.
