Really lovely lunch menu - it took me a while to choose as I wanted more than one thing! Service was great plus the food quality, taste & presentation was delightful. Highly recommend.

Both the main and desert were great. A little noisy but then the restaurant was full. Service was good and wife agreed we will go again.

Excellent venue, plenty of room between the tables, friendly and helpful staff. Food was well cooked and presented. Food arrived hot and within a reasonable time. The only slight negative was the menu was seafood heavy. If you don't eat seafood you're limited for choice. Otherwise an excellent meal all round.

Met up with family at The Lion. We sat in the bar area this time and it was really comfortable. A lovely good solid table with plenty of room for the six of us, chairs were comfortable and our meals very good. Service was at a good pace with friendly, but not overly so, staff. Plenty of parking but busy. Definitely recommend and have no reason not to go again. Thank you The Lion ☺️

Stayed here overnight and booked a table in the restaurant. Fantastic friendly service and the food was delicious! Totally recommend (I’d also recommend staying the rooms and location are lovely).
