The Lincolnshire Arms Hotel, known and affectionately loved as “The Linc” is an iconic Essendon hotel.

We like to think that it offers all things to all with great facilities for entertainment, TAB, great food and a safe and friendly social environment to meet and interact with others.

The Linc food has been satisfying the locals for decades and continues as a strong drawcard for our patrons.

Customer Service was perfect. Meals were delicious and good sizes. Highly recommend. Bar Staff were friendly and we were greeted on arrival and departure which was Lovely.

Service & ambience were excellent. Loved the garlic prawns & scallops in Ponzu sauce. The chicken skewers were overcooked & very dry. But overall, we had a great lunch.

The pub provides plenty of dish options including vegetarian dishes. Meals arrive promptly and are always tasty and nutritious. We particularly like the pumpkin ravioli with vegetable pesto sauce. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ambiance is good.

9 of us invaded The Linc last Saturday evening. Friends/neighbours from a nearby apartment. 4 tram stops! Food was really good - and so say all of us! Lamb shanks to die for! Very obliging staff right from my first booking and then a couple of changes. A noisy night - lots of peeps! It’s a pub! Upmarket, but a pub! Only complaint and partly my fault - didn’t check whether there were any round tables. Very difficult to get to talk to everyone as we were in a corner and on a long table and seats and stuck there. The Linc is a good old school pub. The steak there was delicious!

Good food was enjoyed by a large group of family members meeting up for a special occasion Some people arrived in dribs and drabs but the hotel staff accommodated everyone with good cheer. The food was substantial and of a very good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our thanks to the friendly obliging staff.

Everything was good but my only criticism is as follows.....I saw three different meals come to our table; I had the roast of the day as the restaurant had mint sauce for the roast lamb. ALL of the meals were light on in vegetables.....I had ONE roast potato, two pieces of broccoli & two pieces of carrot. I know that prices of fresh produce have increased recently, but I'd rather see a slight price increase if that is what is required to not skimp on the veggies.
