At The Library, the familiar aroma of coffee, the promise of a delicious meal, and the anticipation of friendly buzz will offer a reprieve from the daily chaos. It is where the community as a whole comes to refill their cup, both proverbially and, often, quite literally. You will find dining options both inside and outside, as well as at the bar. For walk-up service, our pastry counter offers coffee, tea and pastries throughout the day. We look forward to serving the community, visitors, and hospital staff alike.

For all other reservation request for parties between seven and twelve please call us at 727.269.9969. If it's after hours, please email us info@thelibrarystpete.com

Favorite brunch place & menu. A treat for out of town guests. Shade, our server, was attentive without being intrusive.

Service was great, very friendly server and made great wine recommendations. However, when it came to the food, is was very disappointing. The two steaks that were ordered (both at different temps) were both extremely overcooked. The sautéed spinach was disappointing as well. Overall, very nice restaurant with good staff and drinks, but sub par food.

Cool looking restaurant, but uncomfortable seating. Bread appetizer was good. Had the vodka rigatoni and the burger. The pasta was severely undercooked and shrimp was over cooked. The burger has zero seasoning on the patty. Super bland. Definitely nothing special at this restaurant which was very disappointing for my wife and I.

A lovely surprise. Interesting choices. Convivial service and nice atmosphere. I know it’s part of a hospital but definitely worth a visit.

Great lunch location for exceptional food and quick, friendly service. The tomato soup, fish tacos and warm cookie were outstanding. I will be going back again.

I get the feeling they lost our order due to waiting for an hour before partial of our food was delivered. The manager did come by after I asked about it 45 mins after we ordered. We were the second table to be sat. I feel that they were overwhelmed with the races this weekend. My issue was the waiter didn’t come back for 40 mins before I finally went to the front desk and she seemed very shocked. I would understand but the server should have checked on us throughout the morning. We finally got our last dish and left being there a total of 1.5 hours. I would understand if it was a complicated order but basic breakfast sandwiches. I will go back not at opening time next time and maybe dinner.

I have eaten at the Library many times since moving to ST. Pete. I would say the dining experience is consistency good, not outstanding but last evening was a complete disaster. Things started out fine but soon after ordering it spiraled downhill. The service was horrible we waited for more than a hour to receive our main course and that was only after I complained to the manager. Once our main courses arrived they were both incorrect and not how we ordered them. We decided not to ask them to remake our dinners but settled the check and left. We have no intention of going back after the way the manager treated us, like it was our fault. The manager was completely clueless nor did she care.

We were seated promptly and had first rate service. The food was superb from salads to wonderful main courses. Our party of four shared several dishes each delicious!

It was a unique place to eat with the library decor and such, this was our first time there and enjoyed it. The food was good and would go back again.
