You can’t fault the service at the library champagne bar, staff are +++ attentive , the ambience is quiet and relaxed which I prefer. I went for the champagne afternoon tea, the cakes and scones were incredible, the sandwiches however I felt were lacking. Overall the staff and the environment made the experience but I don’t think I would chose the afternoon tea again

Lovely afternoon mum’s treat member of staff ruined it asking loudly had we paid our bill in front of everyone embarrassing us we had paid the bill 20 minutes before won’t be going again

We had a lovely time. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff and chef coped really well with my husbands allergy. Champagne was excellent and the cakes were particularly pretty. The staff were very attentive and pleasant

Beautiful afternoon tea in a gorgeous setting. Service impeccable Food absolutely gorgeous, beautiful home made patisserie's would highly recommend. I personally would have preferred a more savoury option with the afternoon tea, but if you have a sweet tooth this is definitely for you. Catered for my gluten free friend perfectly she was presented with her own display which she advised was the best afternoon tea she had ever tasted. Nice quiet setting, price reasonable would highly recommend.

What can I say but absolutely outstanding from the moment we arrived for our afternoon tea to the time we left. The service we received was amazing and my friends commented how attentive the team were. The new menu did not disappoint, the cakes and sandwiches were delicious. I’m looking forward to my next visit and have highly recommended the Library bar to some more of my friends . I Will definitely be going back.

Had the Traditional afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my friend, brought her a plate at the end with 2 little sweet treats and Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce - nice gesture Service was excellent,.would highly recommend
