Our Sunday Roast is prepared with meat from quality butchers, locally sourced seasonal vegetables, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, and topped with lashings of rich gravy.

No complaints about the food, but the whole place seemed quite disorganised. We waited at the reception desk for a while to be seated, it took ages for our coats to be taken and then shown to our table. The food was great, if a little expensive, but the service was pretty lacking. Some dishes we ordered simply didn't arrive, and the clearing of the table started ... and then wasn't finished. We were left with dirty plates for ages. Drinks took a long time to arrive as well. Strange really as there seemed to be lots of staff milling around ... just sadly not giving our table much attention.

Visiting from the US and wanted to visit the Royal Exchange and have a meal. After reviewing the restaurants for dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) the options at The Libertine were the best. Upon arrival our server and the manager were attentive to allergies as well as our needs throughout our meal. We appreciated iu4

service was really slow took 1 hour for mains to come and most of is ordered steaksz Was very rushed felt that they just wanted us to leave. Wouldn’t. come back

Had to wait to get seated as no one there even tho 12pm. Filming was going on in the restaurant. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. I had Fish and chips and the batter was terrible and soggy.

Food was excellent; I had the blackened chicken. Service was quite slow, however, and although the space below the Royal Exchange is interesting, it was very loud and difficult to hear conversation across my table. I imagine the low vaulted brick ceilings don’t help this.

Had a brilliant meal. Staff were very attentive and very polite and patient. All four of our meals were prepared and presented extremely well. Even received a free cocktail for my wife’s birthday.
