Had to wait to get seated as no one there even tho 12pm. Filming was going on in the restaurant. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. I had Fish and chips and the batter was terrible and soggy.

Having lunch with Clients - A lovely venue with great food and excellent service. I would recommend The Libertine to anyone.

Food was excellent; I had the blackened chicken. Service was quite slow, however, and although the space below the Royal Exchange is interesting, it was very loud and difficult to hear conversation across my table. I imagine the low vaulted brick ceilings don’t help this.

Had a brilliant meal. Staff were very attentive and very polite and patient. All four of our meals were prepared and presented extremely well. Even received a free cocktail for my wife’s birthday.

It was lunchtime so it wasn’t very crowded and wasn’t too loud but it can be when it’s busy in the evenings. Service and food were great. Wine is pricey.
