    Booked for a Friday evening at 6.45.It was quiet and was quickly seated upstairs which we didn’t even though that was an option, there are a few tables seated far apart ( approximately 6 maybe) offering 2, 4 or large family bookings.There was a family already there with a high chair and looked very relaxed, it’s an amazing atmosphere and breathtaking views over the fields.The waitress Anna showed us to our seats and we was offered still or sparkling water option for the table, this was promptly supplied.Asked if we was ready to order drinks or come back in a while.We ordered drink which again came promptly.Asked if we were ready to order from the menu there was no urgency, it’s a very relaxed, peaceful environment. We ordered the scallops in the Thai green broth which were delicious, scallops cooked to perfection with a beautiful broth. Mains we had the Lester steak burger with fries.The burger had delicious crunchy gherkins,,bacon,cheese and a paprika mayonnaise, a towering burger and bbq fries it was mouthwatering. The other main was the chicken,chorizo,Parma ham roulade with a romesco sauce and a Spanish omelette what can I say the best meal I’ve ever experienced!! I googled the sauce before ordering and thought mm is it for me? I was most definitely not disappointed it was so flavoursome hints of tomato and garlic which accompanied the juicy chicken roulade it was a taste sensation !! Chargrilled chilli peppers and a slice of Spanish omelette worked together fantastic to bring this dish together. I would highly recommend this dish.Having visited for a Sunday carvery previously for Father’s Day and already tried the desserts I decided to make sure I left room for dessert and again wasn’t left disappointed ! A delicious sticky date sponge with toffee sauce and a scrumptious lemon drizzle sponge,lemon mascarpone with amaretti absolutely divine.definitely return and highly recommend!!

    Our first visit to this venue since it re-opened. Cannot praise it highly enough. The ambience, service, food and drinks were all superb. The difficult thing was choosing which dish to have. We have said that we will revisit very soon to try something different from the menu. It will probably be our “go to” place!

    Considering the hype on line before it opened I thought the quality and choice of food would be above average. The lunch menu was fairly uninspiring, I chose the rump steak which tasted pleasant enough however with just three narrow small strips steak I thought it rather a miserable offering. My friend ordered the Piri Piri chicken at £2 more and again thought the serving of chicken quite small, chicken is a cheap meat so why be frugal ? The decor looked very nice but really they need to up their game if they are to compete with The Oakley which gives a lovely ambiance for outdoor dining overlooking the lake , is always generous with its portions and generally delivers good food in a great location. I would go again but wouldn’t rush .

    Excellent quality food, presented really well in modern luxurious surroundings. Great friendly service from the staff. Would definitely recommend :)

    The food was lovely and we were really well looked after by Tom and Adam, who were excellent. I firstly ordered the Bean Chilli but it was very hot, and unfortunately I could'nt eat it. Adam was wonderful and organised another meal for me without delay. Thank you.

    Perfect. Will definitely visit again soon. Lovely setting, friendly staff, good portions, lucky to have such a great restaurant in Brewood. Halibut was lovely!!

    This was my second visit to this charming country pub and restaurant, I had the Halibut and my husband had the Pork Loin, both absolutely delicious and beautifully presented as were the desserts, staff extremely pleasant and helpful, plenty of outdoor seating for having a relaxing drink. Lesters is definitely on my return list for quality, service and location, I can't wait to see you again.
