The decor was beautiful, the food was good, however the loud thumpy music in the restaurant detracted from our dining experience. I expected a more elegant atmosphere given the pricing. Our server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu but never asked us if we wanted a second drink, forgot our appetizer, and seemed to forget about our table, even after some of the dinner rush died down.

The food was great, very well prepared and presentation to match. Tables were close together, especially for two-tops. Loud overall atmosphere, coupled with tight seating, made private conversations more challenging

We were very impressed with The Ledger, excellent food, great service and attention to detail was excellent. We will go back to try other items on the menu as everything we ordered was excellent.

BEST DINING EXPERIENCE! Wow, we booked the Ledger for a trip to Plymouth (we lived here 35 years ago) and knew it was a new spot with high expectations. Well, we were blown away! From start to finish it was exceptional. The app (ravioli) was out of this world. The salad was exceptional . Then the lamb and halibut were best ever. But, it was the service that took it to the next level. Ben was our server and from the beginning he immediately made it n experience to never forget. But the ending was over the top - he heard us say that my wife’s Feb birthday was never her favorite month and he made tonight her birthday to never forget. With dessert recommendations, champagne and a candle to boot, we celebrated the best “birthday” in Sept ever! Meeting the manger, we mentioned they are delivering “Unreasonable Hospitality” based on the book - he immediately shared they give that to every team member. Clearly, they have embraced this and have made The Ledger, an exceptional experience, unlike any other you will go to. Great food, incredible atmosphere and service at a world class level. We will fly from FL to return again, just for this! Kudos!

My wife and I wanted to try out a new restaurant for our anniversary and stumbled upon The Ledger here on OpenTable, and boy are we glad we did! Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and they had a small, personalized anniversary card and gift for us, a nice and unexpected touch. Our waiter, Ben, was excellent. Very funny, knowledgeable of the food and drink menus, and made sure we were being well taken care of. They gave us a couple glasses of champagne as we waited for the drinks we ordered (the Vieux Carré was very good). We got the beef tallow candle appetizer and will absolutely order that again. It was a great display and tasted awesome! My wife ordered their butter chicken special of the day and I got the halibut and we shared the truffle fries (more like a side-winder style cut). All of the food was absolutely excellent. I will for sure order the halibut again. Throughout the service, the manager, Jackie checked in on us a couple times. She's very nice and professional and we finished the meal with a tour from her of the speakeasy underneath the restaurant. We can't wait to be back! Thank you Ben and Jackie for a memorable anniversary!

The roasted Brussel chips and lamb pierogis were excellent, but all of our mains were below average. The short rib and pork chop mains were tough. The burger was over cooked and topped with an overcooked egg. The halibut was good but not special. The waiter was excellent and brought us complementary desserts because he could tell we didn’t enjoy our entrees. This place could be good and Plymouth needs a higher end restaurant but the kitchen needs work.

Great new place in the DTP. Highly recommended sitting at the bar. Service, drinks are top notch.

Amazing food and service. The halibut was the best I’ve ever had. The Australian wagyu steak was cooked perfect and tasted amazing. The apps and sides were all great as well. The service was also perfect. I can’t wait to go back.
