With everything you would expect from a traditional pub we source all the finest local produce cooked fresh on the premises by our team of talented young chefs, including delicious imaginative homemade starters and deserts.

                                                                                                                      Once again not disappointed. Food service all very good. Introduced new friends who absolutely loved it. Even had enough fir a doggy bag for their Mutleys.

                                                                                                                      Food was delicious Service was excellent The pub itself was quite noisy Our table for 2 was between a 4 & 6, I would have preferred to be in a quiet corner 3 courses, drinks plus wine & coffee £120 so very reasonable Love the village feel too

                                                                                                                      Mixed thoughts from the 4 of us. One has calves liver and enjoyed it, two had prawn linguine and said it was ok, I had the burger and fries and left 95% of it. The burger was over cooked and very bland, the cheese was barely there and the bacon tasted plasticky. I didn’t want to complain was was enjoying the company but the waitress happily took the plate away without asking if everything was ok and to me that isn’t right. Lovely place otherwise just won’t be returning.

                                                                                                                      The most beautiful village pub, the most delicious food, cannot fault a single thing. The chocolate and Oreo brownie was especially outstanding! Served by Melanie who was an absolute delight! Super friendly, engaging and knew the menu.

                                                                                                                      We enjoyed our meal at the Leather Bottle in Blackmore yesterday evening, the food was good and the staff were very friendly and efficient . Would definitely go again.
