Enjoy a sneak peek of our beautiful craft cocktails, featuring Bob Dylan's Heaven's Door Bourbon, accompanied with small plates and shareable pizzas. View our one-of-a-kind event space, located in a historic church adorned with original stained-glass windows and ornate woodwork from 1880. The Last Refuge is hosting a live show with two great acts (Mama Said String Band and Bee Taylor) from 8pm to 11pm. Doors and bar open at 7pm. If you are looking to have dinner, please book a separate reservation in order to have a table in the restaurant prior to the show upstairs. We hope to see you in to celebrate with your loved one!

Great atmosphere, very good food and service. A bit on the pricey side for beer and pizza but it's what dinning out has become.

Great first visit. We sat in the Lounge and it was cozy and quiet. We hope to explore the other areas on our next visit. We ordered off the ‘specials’ menu and enjoyed the lamb burger. Fun cocktails to choose from and our server Hayley was spot on for recommendations. Her service was exceptional! We will be back.

We ate in the amber room. Absolutely gorgeous. The whole place is a show stopper! Our food (which has gotten even better since our first trip here several months ago): two incredible pizzas and two salads, was so delicious and way more than the four of us could eat. The live music made conversations a little difficult so after dinner we moved into the bar. Another phenomenal looking space. Lovely cocktails and mocktails. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner after theater. The almonds & olives were an interesting combination and quite tasty, but quite salty. We shared a large pesto ricotta pizza which also was quite tasty & more than enough for two. I had a glass of the Bodegas tempranillo which was so-so. My wife had a glass of Pivot Vintage cider which she enjoyed with the pizza. The water came in a stainless steel cup and there was no offer for refills which would have been appreciated because the food was somewhat salty especially the almonds & olives. The decor is drab and we found it uninviting. Ironically, the restrooms were more pleasantly decorated than the main dining rooms/bar. The large, leather wing chairs were not comfortable especially at the table. They were too deep and slippery. The ambiance struck me as a combination of dive bar & speakeasy. The sixties music was fine for us boomers. Overall, the pizzas were interesting enough to recommend going. The whiskey list looked interesting too.

The Last Refuge was ok. Not bad. Not great. Service was spotty. Food was good. But, not as good as the price tag dictated. Do note their food is quite spicy. We got the deviled eggs - spicy. The bacon - spicy. The Madonna pizza - spicy. So, if you don’t like or can’t tolerate spice, I wouldn’t eat there. I will go back but just for drinks. And probably sit at bar because table service is slow.

We started in the restaurant which was lovely. Then we went upstairs to the private event room. The upstairs was ok; sparse furniture, a little cold. Staff were fantastic as well as drinks and food, esp the pizza. Then the DJ came on and the volume was off the charts. Had to lean into each other and yell to be heard. We left after an hour. Had a headache all the way home.

DJ was not great for NYE event and also thought event would be all floors and not only upstairs. Could have used a little more seating and barrels for NYE event.
