Wow…terrible is an understatement! I’ll sum it up with this…you know you have a problem when the waiter spills your $15 drink on the table in front of you. Says nothing and I think have to ask him for napkins as he hands them to me begrudgingly for me to clean up myself. No thanks!

This is the PLACE in Louisville. Cocktails, music, great pizzas, patio/outdoor space...Can't wait to go back.

When we walked up the host took a bite of food she was eating and we stood there waiting for her to finish her bite, she then wiped crumbs from face and smeared hand on nose, grabbed menus and handed to us. We were seated at a table hidden in corner, waited 15 minutes for server to order drinks and when noone came we ended up leaving and not placing an order.

Great soft opening as there could be more reasonable price food on the menu. The cocktails were good but need a bigger selection of bourbon cocktails. I think the patio and live music is a nice tough.

What an incredible venue! The drinks were a little pricey but they were so good, that didn’t stop our group from trying many many of them🤤. We had the olives and almonds and they were delicious. 4 of us split a large pizza (Meat Jesus) and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and gave good recommendations. We had other staff stop by as well to check on us during our experience. We cannot wait to take others, especially out of town guests! This is definitely my new favorite 🤩

Amazing whiskey selection and the Chicago-style pizza was phenomenal. Our server, Nick, was a delight. Cannot wait to return!

We loved our visit here. Was recommended by Candace at barrel and billets and we are glad she sent us there. Everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere is so cool. The food delicious and the beverage yummy. Highly recommend the friar bacon, pizza and the lemonade with real gin.

I was here in a party of 3 for soft opening. We had a great time. The space is stellar, so impressive! Classy and a bit of tongue in cheek fun, being that you’re in a bourbon bar very much in a former church. Service was just as good as the vibe, maybe better if that’s possible. Thank you Min for hosting us and ensuring we had a great time. Drinks and food were very good and I bet will be top notch by the time The Last Refuge officially opens with their expanded menu. White truffle popcorn, artisan pizza, unique cocktails and a beer and wine menu. The bourbon part is not quite open but lots of Heaven’s Door representing as I hear Bob Dylan is a major investor into this space. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area, great for date night, small group hangout. May avoid large groups for now until they grand open with full accommodations.
