The pub needs a refurbishment.Otherwise the experience would have far more pleasant.

We have started to go to the Lancaster every Saturday, amazing food and courteous staff, what else can you wish for.

Our new favourite place to go and have something to eat , whether it's a roast dinner ,or Indian food I can't fault ,the staff are amazing ,and I've not had one bad meal there and I'm fussy

The first time in the Lancaster . Service was very excellent and friendly staff . The food was very good as really enjoyed as pop in to have a another meal soon .

Our first time trying the Lancaster for Indian food. We were pleasantly surprised the place was very busy but the service was excellent the food was good and the prices were average. Will definitely be back.

First time here and the food was excellent. Menu was big , so plenty to choose from. Service was quick too. Would recommend to others and will be back again.

We went on News Years day at 2pm, I booked asking for an accessible table, unfortunately the table we were given couldnt accommodate the wheelchair. We moved tables, staff didn't seem very impressed. The staff were polite enough but not very helpful, trying to squeeze past as we tried to make our dad comfortable. He suffers with dementia and was very confused by the messing around with the chair. This made for a stressful start to the meal. Service was quick though, food as described although mine, teriyaki salmon was cold. No one came to check everything was OK at any point. To be fair, I think the staff were tired after a late NYE party! On the table were 2 lots of menus, main menu and Indian, which gave the impression both were available, however, when we checked this we were told slightly sarcastically no, Indian food served at 4.

Steak was amazing, beautifully cooked as to how I asked for it to be cooked food is lovely here 😋
