Dined here while on vacation. The restaurant itself is well decorated and kept. The menu was limited, not a good option for families. I had a salad, it was fresh, but small for an entree. My husband had the burger which he described as passable. Overall, the food did not live up to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Staff seemingly unmanaged, and for all that hospitality relies on foreign workers they need to be trained enough to understand customers and to be understood. One guest got so fed up trying to communicate with staff he settled for black coffee. Food was ordinary in the extreme, eggs either overcooked or baked in the microwave, toast was cheap white slice barely browned and not buttered. The smoked salmon was the star of the plate but only when measured against such a poor breakfast. A place to avoid.

We were a table of 8 for brunch on a Saturday. The serving staff were very polite and friendly. The food was of a very high standard and nicely presented. I had fish and chips and it was a generous portion and cooked well. The restaurant wasn’t very full which meant there wasn’t a great ambiance but we could all hear each other speak! I would recommend The Lampery

Came here for their breakfast and it was very okay. Nothing spectacular as it is hotel food to say the least. Based on the reviews I thought it would be better. We had breakfast here on a Thursday morning. Hotel guest are seated in the nice patio area or wherever they choose. Non hotel guest like our selves were seated in this dark dinning area. Our waiter was very kind but the service was lacking. She was managing about 10 tables by her self so we rarely saw her. Never got any water or asked for a refill on our coffee or beverages. I dont blame Her as she was busy but whoever is in charge of staffing needs to fix this. You have about 8 people running food from the kitchen and only 1 waiter taking care of everyone makes no sense. Overall if I was lazy and didn't want to go far for breakfast I would come here otherwise it's nothing special. We ordered an English breakfast, the vegetarian English breakfast and the bacon bap.

Fabulous breakfast, lovely setting and our waiter was superb. Shout out to Jakir who looked after us really well. Good food selection and good value.

10 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted anything more than water, and we had to then chase up the drinks. Food orders were finally taken 20 minutes later (but it wasn't overly busy) and the food arrived another 30 minutes later. Service was a shambles, certainly not able to cope with a City lunch and we only had one course!!! Food was average, Lampery Pie is basically mash potatoes with a couple of prawns at the bottom, and one side is presumably still in the kitchen somewhere...

Most of the food was very good. The meat however was overcooked and the rose wine was served at room temperatur (after complainig, we got a wine cooler and for the meantime two glasses of cold wine for free).

A very pleasant evening meal on a visit to London. Food quality and service were all very good. An impressive choice of wines and cocktails were on offer. We were well looked after by the restaurant manager and his team. Reasonably priced given its location. Would recommend to others. We shall return!

My recent visit to The Lampery in London was really exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was embraced by a warm, sophisticated and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The interior exudes a perfect blend of modern chic and historical charm, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable ambiance. The service at The Lampery is impeccable. Staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about their roles. They provided personalized recommendations and were swift to accommodate every need, enhancing the overall dining experience with their courteous approach. The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was a testament to culinary artistry, combining bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The menu, a creative twist on British classics and mediterranean cuisine, delighted us from the first bite. Standout dishes which were both flavorful and cooked to perfection. A special mention for Scottish Scallops or Swordfish Ceviche ad starters, Duck Breast or Octopus as mains. Lovely Desserts to complete the experience. Overall, The Lampery is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in top-notch cuisine, premium service, and an enchanting atmosphere.
