Inspired by our patron, Samuel Pepys, the restaurant delivers a passion for authentic cooking and locally-sourced produce. Located within Apex City of London Hotel, the restaurant serves a menu that celebrates the diverse and eclectic mix that British cuisine is today.

The best gift this Mother’s Day? Quality time, great food, live music (and maybe a little wine). Book a table in The Lampery this Mother’s Day, Sunday 30th March and make it a celebration to remember. As a little extra treat, Mum’s main course is on us - because she deserves it! From 12-4pm, choose between our indulgent brunch menu or famous Sunday roast. After 4pm, our á la carte menu is available offering your favourite classic and seasonal dishes. We’ll be bringing the good vibes with live music from 12:30pm-3:15pm, the perfect soundtrack to your Mother’s Day. T&C’s: Not available in conjunction with any other offer. Offer valid for lunch and dinner reservations on Sunday 30th March only. Pre-booking required. Mums are entitled to one complimentary main course from our brunch/sunday lunch menu or the mains or classics section of our a la carte menu when accompanied by another adult enjoying a main course. Excludes steak dishes. There must be one adult enjoying a main course per mum to receive a complimentary main course from our brunch, Sunday lunch or á La Carte menu. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion including set menus.

Loved it. We came for the Valentine’s Day experience. Staff were attentive and very helpful from seating to explaining dishes and serving us promptly. Ambiance was cosy with live music and comfy chairs. Food was incedible, not a bad thing to say about it! *chefs’ kiss*

Service was unacceptably slow and totally unsuitable as a venue for a business lunch. My party arrived at 12:30. They took our order 15 minutes later. 30 minutes later by 1:15 the food hadn’t arrived. I had to remind them. I suspect the order hadn’t been put through to the kitchen as it took a further 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Food turned up at 1:30, a whole hour after we arrived. We therefore had to eat quickly before needing to head back to the office. Totally unacceptable. Won’t be returning.

Food was okay, but they were slow. Quite noisy, and the entrace door kept slamming... Too expensive for the overall satisfaction.
