Depuis 2006, le LakeHouse est le joyau de Bay Shore, dans l'état de New York. Cet été, ses copropriétaires Eileen et Matthew Connors ont rénové l'élégant et chaleureux restaurant plein de charme pour en faire la nouvelle pépite des quais, sur les bords du lac. Offrant une vue imprenable sur les environs, avec plus de 100 confortables places assises, 2 salons, une terrasse dominant la lagune de Great South Bay et un jardin avec foyer ouvert, le Lakehouse est considéré comme le « l'un de meilleurs restaurants de Long Island ». La terrasse est éclairée le soir, tout comme le salon qui fait face au lac où vous pourrez vous détendre après le soupé autour d'un cocktail. Ne manquez pas cette nouvelle expérience gastronomique américaine. Vous pouvez désormais vous rendre au Lakehouse en bateau, le ponton est équipé pour que vous puissiez vous y amarrer.

The service was great. The waiter was really good and professional. The choices on the menu could be extended. The options were not as much as we would have wanted it to be. Felt a bit limited with options to order. But the food was good. Definitely hats off to the chef. The waiter was really good. He made sure we enjoyed our visit for sure. Will definitely visit again in the future.

The food was prepared very well. Nothing was without flavor and the service was quick with tending to what we needed/asked for

Always love eating there - mostly dinners. Because it was Valentines Day, we had a late lunch - as the dinner period was booked. (It was also a Friday night.) The service staffing was sparse and it reflected on the whole lunch. Wait times between seeing server was longer than a dinner experience, my appetizer came out with my main course, and we had a problem with our first drink order that took about 15 minutes to get someone’s attention to correct - but they did make it right. Could have been an off encounter but I have always praised them I the past for their complete experience.

Very good and will be there regularly with pleasure. Unfussy and tasty with a dependably elegant dining room, lovely and attentive staff, the only point is that the main course could have had a bit more. We indulged in starters which were excellent so did not leave hungry. But could have had a third fish taco with the main - perhaps smaller tortillas but a third taco with the same sized fish per taco.

Service was great - squash soup was amazing - pasta with shrimp was good the sauce was light not too heavy - crème brûlée- was delicious

It’s amazing to have such a delicious, warm, and welcoming restaurant so close to home. It’s temping to take this gem for granted, but good to remember how special it is. The front of the house team can only be eclipsed by the food. Thank you for another great evening.

Interesting cuisine beautifully prepared. We had an excellent dinner with appetizers and dessert. For us this is a special occasion restaurant.

My family and I loved our experience and will be returning. We got the price fixed menu, trying the soup, pork, salmon, and pasta and dessert. All delicious. Our servers were wonderful as well.

We always have a lively time at the Lake House. The food is always delicious and of course the ambience is stunning.
