The food was awful, not as i remember a year or two ago. Drinks weak. Things served on plate not listed on menu, things expressed on menu not on pate. Was just so mediocre… steak overcooked, so sad cause a beautiful spot! Would go back only for a drink!

Food and music were fantastic. Summertime servers a bit young an inexperienced, but very nice and enthusiastic.

What a great find for us- we were lucky enough to have a beautiful night to watch the sunset while sitting on the patio to dine. Food was perfect for us and we will be back!

Beautiful location on the lake. Waitstaff was mixed, some good others not so much. Table very much enjoyed the nachos and calamari with drinks. Everyone had fish and chips which were meh. We all decided next time will be appetizers and drinks only. But we’ll go back.

The Lake House is a family restaurant with lake-side tables. Plenty of great choices on the menu, we had the tacos, which came with two tacos and a lot of guac, salsa, and sour cream. It was a beautiful Friday night with live entertainment, fast service and a happy crowd. Lots of good beer, wine and cocktail choices, we went with a glass of sangria as a perfect start to our vacation!

Great variety food and drink menu. Daily special hangar steak was delicious! Also loved the Caprese salad with seasonal tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella and the bacon scallops appetizer. Seafood pasta was bland, needs a more robust sauce. Servers are attentive. Wonderful lake Bomoseen views. We had an outside table overlooking the lake. Live nightly music is a plus in summer, but can be loud if seated close to the stage, where larger groups are often seated. Parking can be difficult on this busy road at peak hours. But plenty of parking spaces at 5:00 PM. Would recommend sunset-timed dinner views to anyone vacationing in the area! Inside seating with terrific views in fall season.

We went to the Lake House last night with our family-5 adults and one child. The view is the best part, it's beautiful. The food is ok, but very overpriced for what you're actually getting. $22 for a black bean burger? No thanks. We had the ahi tuna nachos and they were pretty good, but we felt they should have had more flavor. Three of our party had the fish sandwich and said that it was underwhelming. I had shrimp tacos and for $28 you should get three instead of two. It also came with a very small side of rice that was ok. The service was ok-slow. We had to ask for things that should've been given. More napkins, a spoon for my sons side of applesauce, drink refills. And some people might not notice this, but for a place that's on the pricier side, we felt that plastic cups with a Pepsi logo was a weird choice. They don't go at all with the chiavari chairs that are on the patio. I'd still recommend people to go because the ambience is very nice.
