Great food and service. But unfortunately, they hosted a trivia night that was so darn loud that it made dining truly unpleasant for the rest of us. Totally unnecessary. We love The Lake House for their good food and service; they just don’t need the gimmicks.

I returned because the first visit I had at this restaurant was superb. This visit was a little different because I came for lunch whereas my first visit was for dinner. The menu was not as appealing, but we sampled quite a few offerings. The chili and New England clam chowder were okay but not special. I had a vegetarian omelet, which was good with fresh veggies and my mom head. A breakfast special two eggs over easy bacon, potatoes, and toast, which was substantial, and we enjoyed it. We also ordered crab fritters, which we're undercooked and very chewy. I'll avoid that one next time in favor of their shrimp cocktail, which was as good as the one I had previously, but this bloody mary mix could have been spicier. Service was a bit slow for coffee refills, and there weren't many people in the restaurant, so I'm not sure what that was all about. Still, a solid place for dining and an outstanding view. It was a bit pricey, considering we didn't have alcohol and the bill with tip was almost $90.

The food was very good! The service was very timely. The drinks were awesome! The dessert was delicious! Very great experience!

The Lake House is a favorite with its casual lakeside seafood house feel and the variety of great entrees and appetizers. The old bay dusted perch is a favorite ! The staff and service is friendly and fun at every visit. The indoor lake views and cool patio are just perfect for dinner or drinks.

Another great meal. Jambalaya was fantastic, with plenty of andouille, blackened shrimp, and crawfish. Just the right amount of heat! Wish it was available all the time. Great service even though they had a 20 person party going at the same time. Make sure to reserve on the weekends; Mandy and her crew are deservedly very busy.

We got there early enough to get a table on the outside, which was nice as we were celebrating the 75th birthday, which I had put in my details when I made the reservation on OpenTable. However, nobody acknowledge that and I’m not sure if the server got that message or not, however, the server was very good. Had him when I was there before. However, I would’ve thought they would’ve offered something as a birthday treat but no one acknowledged that. I asked for my fries to be hot and they came out cold but they did correct that with some new fries that I had to wait for a while to get. And although the perch was very good, I got a piece that the scales were still all on the top of it, which was a turn off as far as eating it.

Did not know Thursday was Trivia Night. Extremely loud; not what I was hoping for. The restaurant is usually very peaceful looking over the lake, and relaxing.

Went for wife’s birthday dinner and had never been there before - noise levels were loud and my 9 year old particularly enjoyed the group at the bar dropping the f bomb every other word. The bartender was our server even though she had a full bar - so we did not see her very much - spent most of meal flagging down other servers to get needs met - more water - more beer - even when slowed down she spent more time out of sight and did not do any check ins …food portions were small for the price. Do not recommend .
