   The ambiance is beautiful. Very cozy and elegant. Sitting on a couch or chair in the lounge area for tea time was a bit uncomfortable though. It would have been more comfortable at a table. The tea pots & cups were beautiful, but the portions size of the sandwiches could have been a little bigger.

   Met a friend for a wonderful lunch in a beautiful building with an amazing setting. Service was wonderful and very attentive. Great salad. I will come back.

   It’s a beautiful setting and the food and drink are outstanding. This was a repeat visit for us.

   Fantastic views, the menu is limited and not what I would consider to be traditional tavern fare. The service is excellent. Hopefully as business grows and the weather warms the menu will evolve

   This is a splendid newcomer on the Central/North Jersey dining scene. With sweeping views across western Somerset County from the high point in Natirar Park, Ladd's Tavern is in the Mansion side of the new P. And a beautiful space. endry at Natirar resort. Modest menu but outstanding quality of food,beverages, and service.

   Our meal was delicious, well prepared and graciously served. The view from Ladd's windows was wonderful. Seeing the interior spaces of the historic Natirar mansion, with incomparable historic details preserved and now combined with contemporary furnishings, is an exceptional experience. My favorite personal memory will be of conversations with all the young, friendly and informative staff - whether within the restaurant, at the spa or at the front reception desk.

   This has been the second time we enjoyed tea service in the Great room. It was superb from start to finish. The service is impeccable, the selection of mini sandwiches and desserts were not only delicious but beautifully presented. The maple pecan scone was the best I have ever had. I have had afternoon tea at top rated places around the world including in NYC and this compared to some of the best I have tried. Well- done all around. Highly recommend it for any celebration or even for a casual relaxing time with family and friends !

   An underwhelming date night. We ordered drinks while waiting for our table and they took almost 35 minutes to arrive. One we were sat, we were shocked at how loud it was- we had to yell across the table in order to talk. We ordered the bread board and a my husband unwound a long hair from the piece of bread he had in his mouth. He is bald, so it certainly wasn’t his. The butternut squash soup was a highlight. The crab cake was also good, but had a heavy smoky flavor to it. The prime rib was not on the menu as advertised, sadly. We did not stay for dessert- we honestly couldn’t wait to leave. Our server was pleasant but rarely checked in and paid any mind to us. We had high hopes but left very disappointed- it was a very expensive dinner that was not at all worth the price tag.

    Overall great place/ambiance/views and experience. The brunch steak/filet was hard even as I ordered medium but the burger was absolutely delicious. Chef created a flourless dessert for our birthday celebration. Nice touch.
