It was not very busy however they were out of 3 different lunch items. We waited an hour to get our food. The waitress was very inattentive and brought only half the lunch which had been clearly sitting under the hot lamp in the kitchen because she was talking to people instead of doing her job. Food was mediocre at best when we received it. Not a great first impressions. And bad service made it worse.

Had a great evening and enjoyed our dinner. The food is superb and fully meets our expectations for a more refined dinning experience. We were originally going to sit inside however asked to be seated outside which was accommodated without any fuss. Highly recommend the hanger steak and elk. Delicious.

The food, service and ambiance are top quality. The setting is tranquil and I love the menu. I drove an hour and half for a lunch date and it was well worth it I can't wait to return!

Nicely received when we arrived. Having the fireplace on was nice on a blustery day. The regular height tables could be by the window and the high tops at the stone wall and then everone could see. Service was very nice, food was excellent - the squash main course innovative. So was the tarte tatin dessert.
