The location is wonderful - beautiful views, easy parking. The food is delicious. The staff is fantastic. The music is great - picked out by the GM. And, it’s dog friendly. Highly recommend it.

Very nice food, friendly service, exceptional views. We were inside the restaurant, and unfortunately, seated next to a very loud group of drinking women. It was much nicer after they left.

fantastic spot for breakfast. Perfectly brewed coffee to beautifully plated breakfast dishes. The highlight for me was the avocado toast, especially with the addition of feta cheese, herbs and Zattar The shakshuka was comforting and flavorful. You can’t go wrong with anything in the menu Friendly service and amazing ambiance and one of the best places for relaxing Sunday breakfast

We were expecting to have a lovely experience at The Kitchen at MCASD, but frankly it was a let down. We went for lunch, the coffee and the carrot/squash soup were great, however the chicken schnitzels that we ordered were inedible, so much so that we could not cut into it with our knives. We initially decided not to say anything, however, on second thought we told our server and asked to see the Manager. The Manager was very nice and understanding - offered us other options and even if we wanted something else off of the menu to take home, but we did not accept her offer. What was interesting is that she mentioned other people that day had ordered the same item and had no issues - all I can say is they either had sharper knives, stronger teeth or perhaps a freshly made schnitzel. All in all, we probably will go back and just not order the schnitzel but something else since the location and the view is fantastic ...

Good food and service, kind of brunch. The kids loved the parmesan pasta and the chicken. See view is great.

I will be the first to say the setting and the food here is fantastic -- I've been many times since the Kitchen re-opened. However, we had a very bad experience this visit. We were dining during Sunday's brunch hour and the restaurant had started emptying out. We had settled our bill and were just talking casually when the manager brought in a large speaker and started playing Mumford and Sons at a volume that felt like a concert, turning the volume louder and louder until it drove us out. A member of my party politely asked her to next time just let us know she needed us to leave rather than to blast music, to which the woman curtly and unprofessionally replied among other unpleasantries "I HAVE A PHD TRUST ME I KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE!!!" -- what a terribly unprofessional way to handle the situation. We were a table of two PhDs and two JDs ourselves and wouldn't have ever reacted in that fashion. I do hope upper management can teach that person how to effectively manage repeat guests. I think it will be a while until we return after that experience.
