Welcome to our famous wood panelled dining room where you can enjoy a variety of dishes carefully prepared by the experienced award winning Chefs. Inspired by a love of modern British food, the menus are built with a unique variety using the best quality produce & ingredients, much of which is locally sourced.

Whether you join us for lunch or dinner our lavishly designed lounges offer an ambient, restful space to relax, unwind and look forward to the sumptuous dining experience and are perfect for enjoying the sea views.

Our Table D’Hote menu is served Monday to Friday midday until 2.30pm with evening service from 6.30pm until 9pm and Sunday 4.pm until 7pm. Our beautifully crafted A La Carte menu is served every Saturday from Midday – 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 9pm. Our famous Sunday lunch service is from midday until 4pm.

First time dining here and from the moment we stepped in you can feel the atmosphere! We was escorted to the lounge to get a drink and wait for our table. The service was first class and the food amazing. Would recommend this place over and over again

My friends and I had a lovely lunch. The Hotel has the ambience and standards of how a good Hotel used to be.

first time going to the Kingsway, we was taken to our table by a lovely member of staff that was on his second shift, the way he introduced him self and carried our drinks to the table was like he had been doing it a long time, we was then served our food very promptly after being seated by a very polite young gent that had only been working there a month or so again very polite both a great asset to the team you should be proud of these

I booked this evening meal to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The evening was spoilt due to the fact the table next to ours had 3 men on it, one of whom talked very load all evening. He clearly liked the sound of his own voice. It was so load at times we were unable to hold a conversation between ourselves. We cut our stay short after our meal as we had just had enough of him and couldn’t wait to get home. This is not the atmosphere we expect at the Kingsway Hotel.

Staff were brilliant, unfortunately I had a very poor steak however the staff were excellent at sorting this out for me so although I didn’t enjoy my meal and left hungry the staff were helpful

We have been a customer for many years. As always, the service was excellent. Sadly the vegetables served with the delicious rare roast beef were a disgrace. Over cooked, boring and looked as if they had been scraped from leftovers to serve again. Also the toast was old, soggy and definitely not Melba toast. Most disappointing.
