Welcome to our famous wood panelled dining room where you can enjoy a variety of dishes carefully prepared by the experienced award winning Chefs. Inspired by a love of modern British food, the menus are built with a unique variety using the best quality produce & ingredients, much of which is locally sourced.

Whether you join us for lunch or dinner our lavishly designed lounges offer an ambient, restful space to relax, unwind and look forward to the sumptuous dining experience and are perfect for enjoying the sea views.

Our Table D’Hote menu is served Monday to Friday midday until 2.30pm with evening service from 6.30pm until 9pm and Sunday 4.pm until 7pm. Our beautifully crafted A La Carte menu is served every Saturday from Midday – 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 9pm. Our famous Sunday lunch service is from midday until 4pm.

Excellent location and service was good. However the meat pies have got smaller. You how have to pay extra for most vegetables, around £4 per side plate per person, where as before it came priced as part of the main course. My friend crunched on some type of shell in his fish pie, we pointed this out to the waitress but had no acknowledgement from the management team. Finally we were charged for 3 x three courses when none of our party had a sweet. Pointed this out and the bill was changed

A friend and myself had lunch at the Kingsway hotel and every course was good. The service was exemplary and the table by the window had a lovely view. Love the linen tablecloth. Recommend the flat iron steak and the prawn salad. It was faultless and we will go again soon.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Kingsway. At every stage from arriving to departure the service was first class. The choices on the menu were excellent and cater for most diners. Also the meals we had ( 4 ) were cooked to perfection .

We like the Kingsway for it's ambience and good quality food. Think wine by the glass is quite expensive. But we go for the experience

The Kingsway Hotel was spotless, comfortable and quietly efficient yet buzzing with atmosphere. The staff had clearly been trained to professional standards, and were always aware and ready to make eye contact for any customer requests. The tablecloths were crisp and white, the cutlery gleaming and the tables sufficiently spaced to allow the right balance of intimacy without isolation from the other diners. The menu was sufficiently varied from the usual fare with just the right balance of firm favourites. However, the stand out ingredient which made our evening was our server who was Milly. Thank you Milly for your impeccable service, your a credit to yourself and the Kingsway Hotel. We booked in advance, visited on a Saturday evening, and I'd recommend a table at a window. We are experienced travellers (62 and 60 years), and I travel internationally on business. We know a good dining experience when we have one, and this most definitely was one of those experience's. Thank you the Kingsway Hotel.
