   Genuinely enjoy Kings Tide every time . We all enjoy the upstairs bar / patio for the view most of all .

   Two weeks ago I asked for a table with a view and the hostess wanted to put us in a booth. She did eventually find a table outside for us. The service was poor. The one waitress had no idea how to serve. The pasta was overcooked, the portions were small and over priced. They did give us a tuna tartar and a cheesecake as an apology which was nice. The setting is gorgeous, the food and service were disappointing!! We ate there a year ago and it was great!! What happened??

   My husband and I ate supper on the outside porch ( covered). We had the fried fish supper and the Caesar salad that was simply delicious. Our server, Zoe, was excellent with her customer service.

   Small poorly prepared expensive portions with snail slow drink service. Bye bye my hard earned bucks

   Meal was excellent! The espresso martini was not good! The dessert options were hard to choose between with how delicious they all read.

   Lucia, I am so glad to hear that your meal was excellent. So sorry to hear about the espresso martini. The dessert options really are tough to choose between. They are made fresh daily right here in house. The carrot cake is one of my absolute personal favorites. We do hope that you will come back and see us again real soon.    Food was delicious. Our friends are oyster lovers, were very impressed. I had blackened grouper with mushroom grits, my husband red snapper and our guests sword fish. Service was outstanding. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations and management bent over backwards to make sure your evening was above and beyond. The setting on the Ashley River is beautiful.

   Dinner was excellent - the oysters were small but tasty, the she crab soup was rich and creamy, the wahoo was flaky and delicious (especially with the mushrooms in the sauce), and squid ink pasta (nero) was very tasty. We enjoyed all of it! Oh yes and the key lime pie.... Mmmmm. We ate too much and took some leftovers home :) Service was friendly and very attentive, very nice all around. It was a little too loud it was hard to have a conversation at times but we managed. Some noise absorption would be helpful.

   Alli, Thank you so much for your 5-star review!!! I am so thrilled to hear that dinner was excellent here with us on your visit. We do rotate our oysters daily and I am so glad you found them tasty. The she-crab soup is one or newer additions to the menu. I am so glad that you enjoyed it as well. The key lime pie is house made daily and has been on our menu since the beginning. It is really excellent. We just added the strawberry swirl cheesecake to our dessert menu as well. I am so happy to hear that your service was friendly and attentive. Great food and great service go hand in hand for the exceptional dining experience.    Service was bad and food was so overpriced. The kids busing the tables were more polite than our waiter. And the food was just not good.

   I am so sorry to hear that your experience here at the Kingstide was disappointing. We just updated our menu to our spring menu with new additions such as blackened grouper with grits, snapper, lobster pasta and a few other new items.     Cocktails not my favorite but my waitress kept trying til she found a drink I loved ! Food was delicious and very filling!

    Thank you so much for your feedback. I do know some of our cocktails are seasonal and the Kingstide take on some classics. I am glad that we found a drink that you loved. I am thrilled to hear that the waitress really helped you navigate the menu to get to that favorite. I love the ecto cool and our espresso martinis!! I do know that our beverage menu is taking over a big change for spring. So do come check us out again soon. Maybe you will find a new favorite.
