The Kingstide is Daniel Island's first and only waterfront restaurant. Boasting a pristine setting along the Wando River's meandering waterways, the beautifully appointed two-story space features an abundance of windows that maximize natural light and picturesque views. Envisioned and executed by renowned Charleston-based Cortney Bishop Design, The Kingstide's rustic yet refined interiors offer a nautical nod that goes beyond coastal expectations The menu offers a variety of seafood dishes thoughtfully presented in both raw and wood-fired preparations. Inspired by the beautifully simple flavors of the sea, The Kingstide partners with local and regional fisheries, farmers, and purveyors to showcase the Lowcountry's bounty through fresh, seasonally driven cuisine.

Great quality with local sourced ingredients. The chef puts a twist on what is available. The staff was super and made our experience great. The specials were outstanding. This has been our fourth time eating here and has become one of our favorites

Our server Jacob was amazing the drinks were fantastic and the food was impeccable Priced well for the location Would definitely recommend

Half-price oyster night (Tuesday - ends at 7:00 p.m.). Great food, good service, wonderful view - moderate noise level. Would recommend.

Didn’t tell anyone with reservation it was my friends birthday but our waiter heard and brought a piece of cake with a candle!! So sweet!

Excellent Restaurant! Creative and delicious cuisine. Take the Daniel Island ferry to and from the Chas. Waterfront Park, it's a wonderful experience. You will not be disappointed!!!

Beautiful setting. Excellent menu. We ate relatively early so can’t comment on the noise level when it’s crowded (but can’t imagine the noise being an issue). Server, Cecilia, was excellent. Only hit: my wife and I both noticed there were crumbs of some sort on the table when we were seated. With their reputation, am hoping that’s an isolated incident.

Our servers made it a very personal experience, gifted us free appetizers and a dessert. We will definitely be coming back when we are in town again.

The menu needs an update. Would like to see the mussels on the menu. We sat in a booth next to the bar and kitchen. Felt closed in because view of water is blocked by walls. A little redesign opening up the view would be nice.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We do try to update the menu seasonally based on the most local and freshest ingredients. We just updated or seasonal fish dish and also our local barrier island steamed clams that are listed on the appetizer portion of the menu. I am so sorry to hear that you did not like where you were seated. Please next time let us know so we can sit you on the patio on the water or a table inside facing the window with the river view.
