A warm welcome from our team will greet you at The King's Head. Once inside, you can expect a cracking pint, a glass of lovely wine or a G&T at the bar, along with some delicious classic British dishes from the kitchen.

The pub is much bigger than it seems. To the pub's rear is a charming dining room, lovely outside seating, and a grassed beer garden.

My wife and I both went for the lamb. We were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious food, including the vegetables, and I'm not really a veg person. Very good service and our food arrived on good time.

What can I say apart from wow?! I’d booked the pub for dinner as had booked a cottage nearby for a weekend away and needed somewhere to eat. The pub was so friendly from the minute we entered. It had a really lovely ambience… you definitely didn’t feel like you were ambushing someone’s ‘local’! The service was very efficient and friendly too. Food choices were great. One of our party has a dairy allergy but she could still find options. The food was really tasty too and was just that bit different from anywhere else I’ve eaten in recent years. We had a lovely time and I’d forgotten when I’d booked that I’d mentioned it was two of the party’s birthdays and they’d even written them both birthday cards. Such a lovely touch! Can’t wait to find a reason to return as I absolutely loved every minute!!

As usual, excellent food and great service. Would recommend the Kings Head to anyone who wants a great night with great food and excellent service.

Really lovely pub and awesome food just wish there was a bit more of a selection. I would have loved something light like a salad but not on the menu. Apart from that really nice

Just a waste of gravy on the chicken Sunday dinner. The dinner already has gravy on and was surprised to see a gravy boat come out too, also just a little too salty. But, apart from that, lovely food and friendly service.

We had a Sunday Roast and it was incredible. Will definitely be returning again very soon.

The food here is truly fantastic. Good choices on menu. The delight is every dish is beautifully cooked. The accompaniments are imaginative and incredibly tasty. A total pleasure to eat here. Good ambience and friendly service. Highly recommend.

I chose the 3 course lunch special, all the course's were so enjoyable, tasty and hot served with plenty of time between each course, the young lady serving was pleasant, polite and not too much fussing. A nice selection of beers and wine, a nice way to spend a midweek lunch.
