The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers an unforgettable dinning experience alongside a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. The 4 guest bedrooms offer stylish relaxing ensuite accommodation, perfect for a special getaway, overnight stay or weekend break (dog friendly).

    I have eaten at The King's Head several times over the past 20 years. This time I thought the menu choice limited - very. Maybe that's because it was lunch time on a Monday (happened to be my birthday so wanted something special). Service on the slow side especially considering it was not v busy. I will check the menu on line before going back

    The pub is one of our favs but they were only serving roasts in the garden on a 25° day, we ended up ordering off the kids menu which ended up being fine, just an odd thing to do on such a hot day!! Staff were lovely as always, good cold drinks and we were given a free round due to a long wait for food so we can’t fault how lovely they are! We’ll still deffo be back :)

    The food was generally lovely. Chicken Tandoori was a little tough but tasty hence 4 stars.

    We have dined a number of times before but never on a Monday. The food was very average and the Chicken Tandoori was very poor - it was a tomato sauce more fitting for pasta than an Indian dish - with a little chilli and almost no spice We had American visitors with us and we were embarrassed- having built the Kings Head.reputation up. We live in Cromer but this will be our last visit. David Homes

    Good food and very friendly service. Limited menu is a plus (local and seasonal ingredients). Great place just off the road into Holt. Thank you!

    We had a late Sunday lunch which was generous & tasty however my plate was absent of cauliflower cheese and when asked for, arrived too late as my dinner was getting cold. An average roast beef with good Yorkshire Pudding but tepid and incomplete
