Welcome to the Kings Head, Holmbury St. Mary!
After 6 months of opening we have been awarded a Culinary Rosette by the AA.
Come and visit the newly refurbished hidden gem in the Surrey Hills. A perfect place to visit for some drinks, a snack or a full 3 course dining experience.
We also have 3 beautiful rooms to let, which have been awarded 4 stars, also from the AA and a coffee shop to stop by on a walk through The Surrey Hills.

    Went for a Sunday walk up to Leith Hill - booked lunch as the reward for walking 5+ miles Great service lovely table and the Sunday and puddings were fantastic.

    Lovely country pub with great food served in attractive surroundings. Good menu. Well cooked food presented well and served in a timely manner at a fair price. Pleasant and efficient serving staff. We will be back.

    Great food, good value wine list, lovely service, all good. Would recommend the chicken and pink peppercorn pie, delicious!

    Great service. A small difficulty resolved with courtesy. The lamb pea and mint pie was memorable. We've been before and will come again. This is a lovely pub with wonderful rooms above and a fabulous menu.

    Sunday lunch in the garden was absolutely lovely, the brisket was so tender and we had a bottle of Gavi. The garden tables are spaced so as to allow privacy of conversation. The garden is well tended and designed. The backdrop is nature and this gives the diner the chance to regenerate and let the hustle of everyday life slip away for a while. The service was attentive whilst allowing us to space out the courses we chose. My third visit at The Kings Head, and I look forward to my next visit.

    I visited with two dogs. The staff were very accommodating and the food was excellent.

    The King's Head is a pleasant place to spend a relaxing lunchtime. I liked the small menu, with food presented and cooked well.
