Was a bit of a trek to get to as in the country but worth going to and would go again. Lovely setting, nice decor friendly & helpful staff. Didn't give top stars for the food only because we didnt really have a full main meal only small & side dishes. That is not to say they were not good but couldn’t give a proper picture. Would have like to see some local lagers on tap.

Exceptional service, exceptional atmosphere & above all, exceptional food! A fine pub in a fine village. I've been a few times now & tried different dishes which have all been 10 out of 10.

Great location with fabulous decor and furnishing. Outside seating areas superb. Food and service was outstanding We were recommended to pay a visit and we were not disappointed. We will defo be back again soon.

King's Arms' outstanding decor, soft lighting and music background gave it a sumptuous ambience. It certainly hits the ideal combination of modern, traditional, and cozy. There's variety of choice of foods, and the attentive staff made our dining very pleasant. The surprise birthday plate for my friend was definitely a huge bonus. What an ideal place to relax, and to celebrate special occasion. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the warm hospitality makes it great for both private meals and exuberant groups. There were eight of us ladies last night and we certainly had a great time. I'd like to thank Samatha and Team for listening and providing our requests, making it fine dining indeed for all of us!

nice food. good beer. Nice part of the world - Elham. helpful staff. Sorted out a simple pudding for us - we just wanted ice cream

Really lovely Sunday lunch. Our first time visiting & already planning our next, the staff were friendly & welcoming. The pork roast was absolutely delicious, we knew it would be a good meal after seeing Gilda bread on the menu! I had the panna cotta for pudding & it was wonderful. Good portion sizes too! A lovely small pub chain, please look at taking over the black pig in staple, our village is crying out for a pub like this! Wonderful, 5* country pub

One of the nicest roast chicken lunches we’ve ever had in a pub! Pub beautifully refurbished, and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Sadly our experience was slightly ruined by a couple of families with children who were all so unruly and so loud. The adults didn’t seem to care about their kids screaming throughout their time there. But we will be back, and hope it’s a bit more peaceful next time.

The pub has a lovely feel to it, the terrace space outside is lovely. The food is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The only criticism (if I was being picky) is the noise level when the restaurant is full. We had a lovely evening spent with family.

Sat outside in the courtyard which was lovely on a warm summers day. The menu is well thought out and the food excellent. Service was a cut above. A house salad with Italian preserved onions and tomatos - wow Carrot and butternut squash soup for my 89 yo mother-in-law was a huge hit My wife’s mussels were spot on My pesce fritta mista took me straight back to Sicily ! Harveys Sussex Ale made for a perfect lunch.

Perfect venue for Father’s Day. Meal, service, ambience all fantastic and price wise it was was pretty good value as well. Highly recommended.
