The Kings Arms lies deep in the heart of the East Devon countryside. We’re surrounded by wonderful local farmers and growers, and we aim to make the most of this by using locally-produced ingredients whenever possible. Our meat is sourced from our nearby family farm, and most of our fish is supplied by our very own fleet of fishing boats.

Here at the Kings Arms, we serve a varied, locally-sourced menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all available in the bar, conservatory and outdoor terraces. We will happily accommodate different dietary requirements, with friendly and informal table service wherever you choose to sit.

The format is simple; he plays the chorus of 25-30 songs, and each player is given a bingo card to guess the song and cross them off. It's bingo, but without the numbers! There will be prizes for 1 line, 2 lines and a full house. Bring your best musical knowledge for an evening of live music meets pub quiz! Tickets will be £5.00 for one game, or £7.50 for 2 games. Games last roughly 45 minutes.

Very friendly atmosphere. Lovely food. Nice seating area both inside and out. Very clean facilities.

Friendly helpful staff and good food. My partner and I don’t have big appetites, especially at lunchtime, so it was good to see that you could choose a small portion. The background music wasn’t to our taste (although that can’t be helped) and we found it a little too loud but apart from that we will definitely come again.

We had Sunday roast which was delicious. Beef beautifully cooked lots of seasonal vegetables and lashing of gravy. Roast pork crackling was good as was the nut roast.Service was excellent and we were well looked after.

Very friendly, good choice of ales etc, food was good but limited choice on a Sunday if you don’t want a roast. Would definitely return

Food was very good, the only part which let it down was that each time the waitress brought some food they would reach across the person who was eating at the end as opposed to going to the other side of the person who they were serving the food too.

Nice pub with great menu in pretty village. Service fine and food very fresh -Dover sole with caper sauce -would go again

Sunday roast was very tasty but my lamb had an inch or so of string embedded in it which I nearly ate. The meat itself was very nice but the whole meal was only warm, not hot.
