Upon sitting down thirsty, we requested, and were denied a pitcher of water as it's supposedly against the rules of the restaurant. This left me waiting unfortunately long between small sips of water in their tiny ice filled glasses as I tried to get the attention of our waiter on at least three occasions. The food was generously portioned and cooked to specifications, however was very bland. My husband could barely eat his steak because of this. I will say though, that the bread was absolutely delicious. Overall was a very middling experience with high end prices.

Nathan our waiter was fun and made everything very comfortable, great dinner and celebration for my husbands birthday.

New Year’s Eve wasn’t AS BUSY as expected. Service was “fine” but wasn’t as good as we have had in the past. Food was delicious, pricing was ok. We were happy to get a reservation on a busy night.

We always love to go to the Keg at St James for special occasions! It is always wonderful. Today of course was another special occasion. Our server Steven went above and beyond and was so kind and efficient in juggling us with all the other tables he was assigned on such a busy evening! Our steaks were cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the bread is always lovely, the special Prime roast-stuffed Yorkshire puddings were such a great addition, it reminded me of Sunday dinner in England, the puddings were great! We were surprised with a billy miner pie for dessert which is always a dream! Thank you to all of the front-of-house workers and kitchen workers for their hard work during this busy holiday season! We will for sure be back as soon as we can! :D

My husband and I enjoyed our meals of steak and lobster but our friend asked if she could order 2 sliders in the restaurant and was told no. Only in the lounge could she have 2 as they come in lots of 3 and no exception in the restraunt. None of us drink and it was my birthday so reserved in the restraunt. She only ate 2 and tried to eat the 3rd but it was gristle and hard to eat dried out meat. Impossible for someone with dentures to eat, that’s why she never ordered steak. We told her to send it back but she said she didn’t want to make a fuss on my birthday. All her children and family and our children and family dine at this location frequently and will not be pleased about this occurance happening. This really is such a shame

It is a very nice experience. Everybody was very welcoming. Kim was very kind and serves us well. She recommended great delicious foods and wine. So happy. Me and my wife was very greatful to try The Keg resto.
