The server was amazing , very attentive to our tables.. was un satisfied with the food. The steak was cold and very dry and chewy., I had teriyaki sirloin and I had the Oscar store line on top and the shrimp and scallops tasted very rubbery and they were cold no flavour, the rice was changed, and it was nt the same rice that you used all the time. It was like an uncle Ben starchy rice look like it was the bottom of the pot. It was the worst meal I’ve had at the keg ever and we eat here very often. Maybe it was a new chef.

This Keg in St.Catharines Ontario is our favourite place to have Steak the service is always excellent & our server was fantastic always checking into see how our food was & if we needed anything else she was friendly & made our experience fantastic if anyone looking for a date night & a great steak the Keg in St.Catharines Ontario the place to go l would recommend this place to my family & friends or anyone to go there.

First time going to the KEG and was for a special day (valentines) and the service there honestly was not the best. Maybe because it was at the end of the day and the staff was tired, but still not the experience I would’ve expected from the keg which from all the reviews say otherwise. The food as well was pretty mid. The best part of our meal was the appetizers. I’ll still probably go the keg again but not this location at all.

Our food was superb as always. We dine here once every season. Our server was amazing considering how busy she was she remembered to bring us everything we asked for- even the ginger ale 😬. A bit loud for our liking but we will be back again in the spring. Thank you!!

Went for our 4th Valentines dinner, as it’s our go to for special occasions and holidays, approx 4-5 times per year. To start, the apps were great (baked garlic shrimp & feature chipotle glazed thick cut bacon). However, the mains were not so great. My partner asked for his NY strip medium rare, and it was on the medium-well side, tough and chewy, with a touch of pink. I got the blackened chicken (my go to), and it was also super dry. They never used to butterfly the chicken, and I think by doing that now, it’s thinner and over cooked. The top is tough to cut through, and they have definitely changed the garlic butter that comes on it. I inquired with the server as the “garlic” butter tasted like normal butter, which is definitely not what it used to be (it used to be great!), and she said they have likely changed the recipe. Overall, the mains were not great. On our previous visit in November, the chicken was also dry and I thought maybe a fluke, but twice in a row isn’t great. Shame because we come from Niagara Falls as the St Catharines location has always been far better quality.
