Really disappointed with our experience. I was taking my parents out for my dad‘s birthday along with my boyfriend. We drove a long ways to get there. I was really looking forward to this dinner. It’s my dad‘s favourite restaurant, I am a vegetarian, so obviously not the greatest place for me lol but I saw that you had options. I’ll start with saying the three meat Entrées were amazing. They were very happy with them, my vegetarian dish I could not eat it was very very salty and just not good/ I sent it back I ate the salad which they put on a very hot plate so the salad was warm. I then ordered some onion ring so at least I could have something to eat with my wine, they look very cooked and delicious on the outside. However, the inside was all mushy, and the batter was not cooked. The waiter really did not seem to care, the kicker was there was a fly at the bottom of my boyfriends beer. ( my bog friend was gagging )the waiter also did not seem to care about that just by oil the cup away- we also had to call the waiter over a few times to order drinks as. Remind him of one her forgot - I didn’t want to upset or ruin the experience for my parents. I went to the front to speak to the managers who were lovely. Obviously I did not pay for the food that I sent back and I believe they took one beer off the bill however, to spend over$400 I left very hungry and I just felt that no one cared about our table. The waiter really did not seem to care even when he brought over the birthday cake he gave to my boyfriend and I was like it’s not his bday it’s my dads. Overall, the experience for me was terrible. I expected much more from the keg it’s not like I’ve been there a bunch of times but I’ve been a few times and have enjoyed it.

You can always count on consistently be a great experience. We had Jane as our server and cannot say enough of how wonderful and attentive she was to every detail. She made the experience all that more enjoyable. Our meals were as good as always.

Very dark entering hallway. Food was good. Vegetables were cold. Quite a bit of gristle on our steak

We always enjoy the Keg. As a non meat eater the selection is limited to either salmon, chicken, or a vegetarian shepherd's pie. Would like to see more variety.

Food while a bit pricey is consistently good and remains one of the few places in Ptbo to get a good steak or prime rib. Service was great, not too rushed but still attentive. My only criticism is while the table lights have helped, it’s still time for a decor upgrade to lighten the place up a bit

As always, a great meal at the Keg. I found the fall feature entree, Duck Confit, excellent.
