Our server was lovely, however, our entree was brought out before the appetizer. I had the primerib sandwich which was fatty, which I don't like. I ate half of it. We shared a creme brulee which was delicious. An ok visit

My family and I (4 of us) came in tonight to celebrate my birthday. I have never had a bad experience at any Keg... until tonight. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. We were sat promptly after arriving. Our waitress took a while to show up (about 15 minutes) and took our drink order. A soda and mixed smoothy drink took over 10 minutes to arrive. They did arrive with hot bread and butter. Refills took a long time to arrive throughout the evening. Dinner arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. All our food was amazing, as usual. My wife and I both had prime rib. My kids had Keg burgers. No complaints about the food. We were presented with a dessert menu and again our waitress disappeared for a long time. Throughout the night she took a long time to refill drinks and come back around. I've never experienced such slow service at the Keg. I'm not one to complain, and I never thought I would about the Keg, but here we are. I want to be clear: food was amazing, and what we expect, but the service was slow and ruined the vibe of our night. I don't normally tip anything lower than 22% at the Keg (usually higher) but tonight I did 15%... and that was generous. I hope this feedback reaches the right people so service can improve.

I usually enjoy the Keg, but our last time there was an exception. Was there to celebrate Daughters Birthday. Even with a reservation waited 1/2 hour for table. Took 10-15 minutes before waitress arrived. Ran out of Prime Rib by 7 o'clock on a Saturday Night??? Had to settle for something else that wasn't as good. Overall NOT impressed!

Very slow sporadic service. Ran out of prime rib early in the evening. Ran out of neptune mushrooms. Over cooked a steak. Had to send back. Waited 20 minutes for table with reservation. Table was way too small for 6 people. Very cramped. In restrospect we should have asked for a bigger table. Only 4 place settings for a group of 6. Missing wine and water glasses. Had to ask. Long intervals of inattention.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at the Keg. Been going to this restaurant for many years because of service and value but did not get either that night. The server did not read the table properly. We had a 2 year old and two 4 year olds, he was too tardy getting our drink orders in. Then we came back to ask for appetizers and we said we just want to order our main meals, then he says “well your drinks aren’t here yet”. We didn’t care, it was already 45 minutes passed. Our food took an hour and a half to show up. I’ve never returned a steak in my life but my sirloin came out raw. So I had to wait again to cook my steak properly. We were at our table for 3 hours. I tipped 10% which should have been 0 but I am a sucker and should have delivered some candid feedback to your young manager.

Seated promptly. Our server, Mike, was awesome with the entire group of 7 but especially with our 2 young granddaughters who he made feel very welcome, heard & accommodated!! Everyone's food (steaks, prime rib, salmon) was top notch, portions generous, perfectly cooked to our specifications. Timing of delivery by all staff was seamless. A very enjoyable 2 hrs. for our early birthday celebrations! This is our 3rd visit to this location because it's perfect in every way. We highly recommend it and will be back when visiting Calgary again. Thanks Keg, Market Mall! You all do a great job!!

Dear Keg Management, I'm a loyal customer, but my latest experience was disappointing. I brought a friend to dine with me, expecting the usual high standards. Unfortunately, our meals fell short. I ordered the steak and lobster with twice-baked potatoes, medium rare. However, my steak was overcooked and both the steak and potatoes were cold. My friend's peppered steak, ordered medium rare, was also overcooked. Additionally, she requested a substitution of Caesar salad for mushrooms, which was forgotten. Given our $140 bill, we expected better service and quality. This experience has made me hesitant to return. I hope you'll address these issues to restore my confidence in The Keg. My partner and I had a lovely anniversary dinner. We both had the NY Striploin. Service was very friendly and pleasant We were early and so it was quiet and the servers were attentive. The only complaint I would have is that my steak was a bit chewy, more than I would expect for a nice cut of meat. My partner's was fine.
