    Food and service was outstanding. Steaks were great, but the Gruyère and mushroom appetizer was ridiculous. Eric our server was superb. An excellent choice in Halifax.

    From the moment we entered the restaurant to our last steps vacating the building, we were made to feel welcomed and our business appreciated. The food was great and our waitress was exceptional. This restaurant is high on our list for places to eat. Thank you to the Keg. This is a well managed restaurant.

    Overall top notch service. Waiter very attentive but gave us the time we needed to settle in. Felt no pressure to make decisions. Clean, organized, professional. Oh yeah and the food was great!!!

    The food is great at The Keg, but their service is what you would expect at a much higher end restaurant. We always enjoy our experience and appreciate the level of excellence shown from the moment you walk in the door.

    I had the salmon which was excellent. My wife had the beef tenderloin which excellent as well. Our friends were not impressed with their prime rib which actually didn't even look like prime rib. Was overcooked. Meals are certainly overpriced therefore you want quality. A medley of veggies would add much to all the expensive meals( which is every one) and not those crispy onions or whatever it was that came with the prime rib.

    Excellent meal, if a bit pricey. Top Sirloin and Chicken entrees. Split my Caesar salad, enjoyed the welcome bread, the local craft beer ( would have liked to see more of our many excellent NS craft beers on offer). It was my wife's birthday, and they brought her a gigantic Billy Miner pie:) Overall, a great meal
