Came to celebrate 3 anniversaries. Overall experience was very good. The restaurant was very chilly and we had to wear our sweaters or jackets. It also cooled down the food. Side dish portions have also been cut down quite a bit.

When we walked in the restaurant, we were welcome with a smile that was a good start. We were brought to our table, which I reserved online. The table was fine. Then we were first graded by the busboy, which we didn’t mind but to me it should’ve been the waiter first And the boy helping him but not being the first contact. We were celebrating a special event. It was my wife’s and my younger son’s birthday that weekend. My son was turning 21 and my wife was looking younger and younger we’ll just say 😉. My son and I enjoy a certain cocktail. I travel across the country for business and I eat a lot of top-notch restaurants. Whiskey sour is one that we always compared to the other restaurants we have eaten across Canada. Well, I must say we each had a sip to start on our whiskey and it was not but the worst whiskey sorry we had experience. We asked them to take it back and we ordered something different. Then we ordered appetizers orders and then we ordered the main meal. Everything was fine until the main dishes were brought to the table . The waiter unfortunately ordered the wrong dish for my sons birthday. None of us are our meal until my sons meal arrived 15 minutes after everyone else’s. We all started eating together, Unfortunately, all of our meals were not as fresh or warm. They were more cooler at that point when you’re at a high end Restaurant, you don’t accept second best when it comes to service and the food . They did not charge for my son’s meal . But again all of us did not eat our meal until my son’s meal arrived 15 minutes to 20 minutes after hours because it was his birthday and my wife’s birthday. The server apologized . I paid for entire meal for my family. Unfortunately, If you were to put yourself in my shoes, I would have expected more than just covering my sons meal. They should have more because we waited for his meal to arrive, which meant our meals weren’t hot. They were warm when we started eating..

Our waiter Jordan was amazing! I have allergies and he attended to them so well! The noise was loud as we were seated near a table of 15 people. Not anyone’s fault though. Everything came out in a timely manner and had an amazing time!

Awesome meal, server (Ben) was awesome, friendly, helpful, attentive and we really appreciated his humor and demeanor. He made our stay fun!

I had heard that The Keg at Fort Garry wasn't the best, but it was closer to home so I gave it a try. The service was acceptable, but it was clear that the server was expecting a tip; it wasn't very warm. The dishes were good but not exceptional. The escargots were a decent size. The tuna tartare was also okay, but the crackers were a bit stale. My ribs were good, but there were no vegetables—at least a leaf of salad would be a nice touch! My husband’s steak was overcooked and the dish was not what we ordered. Overall, it was really mediocre. I would describe it as overpriced fast food.

Would have been nice if our anniversary was acknowledged as we put it on the reservation.. usually birthdays are acknowledged. other then that everything else was good.

We were sat at the most awkward spot in your restaurant, it was squishy people walking by kept bumping into our table. The chair beside was like right against myself almost, it was not very relaxing. There were nonstop traffic beside us on both sides. If I was in charge of that location I would remove that spot. We usually always have an amazing time coming but this time was by far the worst time we’ve experienced!! If we do ever decide to come again which after that spot, we might not I will be sure to mention to not be seated there.
