The lobster bisque was just OK, we’ve had much better so we’re a bit disappointed. The ribs were very good but the accompanying fries were average, just like any fast food. The prime rib sandwich was very good, very filling and a nice way to get a good taste of prime rib. The chocolate cake is very good. Biggest disappointment was the noise level. We were celebrating our anniversary which we told them when making a reservation, and they put us beside a large (20 people) table full of happy customers. There was no where to move us, so sometimes that’s the way it goes. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive.

My 1st time back at this Keg in along time due to my last visit was pretty bad. I heard things were better. I will not be coming back. I had the 64 dollar rib steak that was cooked decent, but was chewy as ever, I could barely cut it with the knife provided, and the flavour was not good. Seriously disappointing! When you can cook better at home, it’s ridiculous to spend $200-$300 on a date night.

We had an excellent dining experience...a great way to celebrate Mom 's birthday! The food was exquisitely prepared, the service was expedient and courteous, we had no issues being able to talk to one another...all in all, I would highly recommend The Keg downtown!

Our server Hason was very good. Food excellent! This location is our fave esp in summer with beautiful patio, but inside getting a bit dated.

I made a reservation for 6pm as we had a concert to attend and it would have been perfect timing. I did not expect that when making a reservation that we would be waiting for half an hour for a table! This delay caused us to be late for the concert which was annoying! Our server was amazing and so was the food just wish that our reservation time would have been honoured. There were so many people waiting for reservation I have never experienced this chaos before.

We had a 6:00 reservation prior to attending a 7:30 concert. We were not seated at 6:00, but were told we had to wait. At 6:15 we complained to the manager and explained our disappointment. We finally got seated but had to rush through our meal. We made it to the concert with two minutes to spare. What should have been a relaxing dining experience prior to the concert turned into a stressful event. While the manager provided us with a complimentary beverage, the Keg needs to amend their seating policy to restrict how long diners can sit at a table. Other local restaurants such as Pauline’s and 529 subscribe to this policy. While the staff did their best, they were stymied by a lack of policy.
