Craig, our server, was incredibly funny and also served up some laughs for us! Steak was cooked perfectly and sides were delish. Probably one of our best experiences at The Keg so far!

Always a great experience. Our server Monica was amazing. We had her last time and she remembered us. Food was fantastic. Great place to celebrate an anniversary. 👍👍

My wife and I attended for our 1 year anniversary, we ordered 2 steak meals and wanted a side of “sautéed mushroom”. The waitress recommended we then order 2 classic meals this provides mushrooms on our plate as part of our meals but we then also get a salad to start. When our meals came it appears we got mushrooms but less other vegetables as the mushrooms became part of that side, separate we also got our salads, however at the end of the me this “upsell” cost us an additional $20 per person ($40 total). For 2 salads we really didn’t want just to get a small hand full of mushrooms and less other veggies. I felt a total upsell by the waitress to increase our bill to get a higher tip. I say this because when our bill came and we went to pay debit the waitress had already taken it upon herself to pick the percentage key in the debit machine allowing for a tip of 18-25%. i had no option for a custom $ tip. i had to give the machine back and was told the machine does this sometime. don't get me wrong our "Steaks" were "Fabulous". complaints to the chief. overall when your upsold $40 in greens you never wanted, end up with a $230 bill and then the waitress chooses the percentage key for you. Have to wonder; was it an upsell or just innocent, was the debit machine just broke and picked percentage by accident. Moral of the story; don't order the classic meal for a $20 salad, watch the up charges but enjoy steak.

A wonderful family dinner, as always. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server, Michelle Miranda, was absolutely the best part of our meal. Their warm, caring and authentic personality coupled with a down to earth sense of humour was such a breath of fresh air after a long week. Adults and kids enjoyed Michelle’s professional service! Thank you Michelle. We hope to have you again!

We had an amazing waitress who answered all of our questions and ensured we weren't rushed through our courses. The mushroom dip was amazing! My steak was cooked perfectly and the bernaise sauce was so good!!

We really enjoyed our first time at the Dartmouth Keg Restaurant, love the free parking. We always went to Halifax, had to deal with all the traffic & hard to find parking. Our server Craig was amazing, very professional & really nice. We loved our meals, the food was delicious & the drinks were good too. Cheers to your team for outstanding service. We will be back ❤️

The food and service was amazing. I never mind tipping but the machines should start at 15 percent and not 18. Our tip came to 57 dollars and I felt that was high. Our plates could have been taken away sooner and our server was awesome but got busy and we were not asked if we wanted desert. Our food was amazing and cooked to perfection. It’s a great place to go for a special occasion but pricy. I will def. Be returning with my family. Thank you.

We went to the Keg to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The food was great. We have gone for birthdays before and ended up with a slice of Billy Miner pie, on the house, as well as a happy birthday wish. I guess you don’t do any of that anymore. Also, we always order a side of mushrooms, which were always served in a hot skillet. I guess not anymore. They were served on a plate, and understandably “ not very hot”. The restaurant was very busy. I can appreciate that. But nobody returned after we were served, to check on us, and I ultimately didn’t get another drink, which I wanted. The Keg is my favourite restaurant. I take my parents every year when they visit from the UK. It’s their favourite too. Disappointing for 280 dollars.
