Nice start. Melissa came over realizing our waiter was very busy and a former colleague of my son. Impressed with the comment there was a vegan and a birthday at our table. I am not sure how the waiter discovered that!? Half right. Then he asked me if it REALLY was my birthday and I said ‘no’. Excited by the first few bites of the Baked Brie. But before it was finished it got dry with only a skimpy amount of cranberry sauce to go around. The DUCK CONFIT - mashed and meat was way over salted. Meat dry and skin was not crispy and a revolting colour of grey, I boxed it to go. The Henkel Trocken was flat not as bubbly as I had hoped. Actually I would have rather poured it myself as Gabriel seemed much too rushed most of the time, so much so that his head was beaded with sweat. At the end of the the meal he asked us if we were “still PICKING at that?’ What an insulting phrase!!! I also thought Keg employees were trained not to use slang? Only in Nova Scotia have I ever heard a server inquire this way. Way way to routinely. Shame. To top it off both my Son & I had stomach issues immediately after leaving the restaurant. However I wasn’t going to say a thing at the time as I wanted my Son’s celebration dinner to run smoothly. Thought you should be aware.

Brought our family visiting from England, they were blown away with the service and quality of the food. Always a great cooked steak and the garlic mashed potatoes are a must!

Went for our anniversary dinner. Necia our server was on point, made us feel like we were her only table!! She took great care of us, which is why we always request her as our server. She is an asset to this establishment. One example, I get the 14oz prime rib, had a few instances where the extra ounces were all fat , so I mention it to Necia and like magic my 14oz piece is delicious medium rare rib with zero fat. It’s always a great vibe in the restaurant.

We came for our 20th anniversary and our server Decklyn was fantastic ! Great service and the food was the best we ever had! We were given a complimentary mariners pie that was HUGE and shareable 100% recommend!!!
